Nice place, scones tasty. Loos clean. Quick service. Parking good too. Nice views of the Cricket. Only slight no no is the coffee. Not sure coffee machine was calibrated properly as it tasted bitter and milk slightly burnt and a bit of an amateur attempt at Latte Art but it's OK. Not really speciality coffee experience but it wasn't too bad at all.

Really like it in here. Foods great and handy for a cuppa and a people watch.
A good hub for walkers, families, and visitors to Bradfield and surrounding areas
UPDATE : Finally got to try the food and it did not disappoint. Good size portions and lovely atmosphere. Staff are all lovely too, nothing was too much trouble and they were all excellent. Would love to try the Bistro evening too.
Thanks all.

Came here for the Sunday roast. Mostly disappointed. Small portion for the price and it wasn't cooked amazingly. The seasoning was weak and off, the yorkshire had no taste or texture, and the gravy looked like it was about to split.
They also charged an £8 service tip which I think is insane. I believe in tips, and am happy to, but for £8 I should be greeted with champagne and taken to a vip seat.
BUUUUT!!!!!
The drinks were delicious and they have a massive range of funky cocktails - passionfruit mojitos and all kinds of sangria, bellinis and martinis.
There are several rooms and an oitside area. Decor is cute. Whole place is wooden and cosy. And comfortable chairs if that means anything to you.
Dog friendly which is always nice to see. And a lovely location of course with views over the hills.
I will definitely be back

The perfect bike stop. Plenty of space to store bikes around the back. Outdoor seating, front and back, as well as indoor.
I just had coffee and cake but the menu looked excellent.

1.10.24 Excellent homemade squash, spinach and cheddar quiche with salad and mexican bean soup enjoyed by us both. The lemon and blueberry, and honey, lemon and almond cakes were delicious. All served by friendly staff. We spent a very leisurely lunch at The Schoolrooms and intend to return very soon.
