I stayed in this lovely inn on Friday last for just one night, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! From the moment I arrived I was met with kindness and courtesy. The pub itself has a lovely atmosphere, warm and inviting and Kenny and Belinda and their lovely dog Piper are very friendly and helpful hosts,|The bedroom was cosy, bright and welcoming , with a generous, comfortable double bed and an en suite bathroom with bath, plentiful hot water, shampoos etc . Lots of storage spaces in a wardrobe and chest of drawers. There were also tea and coffee facilities, biscuits and bottles of water and a useful information book with a very interesting piece on the history of the pub and the surrounding area.|The food was beautifully prepared and very tasty, (gluten free, no problem!). GF pancakes for breakfast were a delicious treat, and the nicest gf food I've come across for a long time!!|The pub is very conveniently situated in the middle of the Lavant valley, with lots of lovely walks around the area. It's also only ten minutes by bus to the Weald and Downland Museum. As I only had a short stay, I didn't get a chance to check out everything else in the area so I'm looking forward to coming back! A big thanks then to Kenny and Belinda for making me feel so welcome!! (and of course to Piper for helping me with breakfast!!)

Stopped here as our usual place was out of action. Dropped in to ask if they were serving breakfast, was asked " how many? " We were a party of two adults and one child. Waitress said that we could come in. We asked if we could sit at a table for two as it would be better for the high chair. The table needed setting but the dining area only had one other couple dining, so not busy. Waitress agreed but had had such a bad attitude. She begrudgingly laid the table. My husband overheard her swearing when she could not find the breakfast menu. Drinks order was quite prompt but when the drinks arrived, we told her that we were ready to order. She snapped at us and then sorted out the drinks machine. She returned a short time later and took our order. While waiting overheard waitress complaining about having to serve breakfast to non residents. The breakfast was excellent but took a long time to arrive. The pub dog Ruby was a delight and made an unpleasant atmosphere more bearable. I feel that the standard full English breakfast was overpriced at 12.95, usually don't mind paying a little extra if the place is friendly with good service. Will not be returning.

We had dinner at The Selsey Arms. The service was prompt, the food excellent and the prices reasonable (especially the glass of wine!)||The menu was fairly standard pub fare although the quality above-avearge as were the portion sizes! The artisan bread is home-made and not to be missed - it comes with an olive oil and balsamic dip. However, it is the Specials board that deserves special mention. When we dined there, the Specials were warm pigeon salad, moroccan lamb on flatbread, fisherman's pie and (my choice) oxtail.||The oxtail was superb - a huge portion with plenty of vegetables||My dinner partners had ham hock, eg and chips - the hock was perfectly cooked and agian a generous portion. The fish and cips were perfectly cooked and, as to be expected, genrous.||The bill was just over £100 for three including drinks but excluding a tip - excellent value for money!!||All three of us would highly recommend The Selsey Arms

We stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting the area. The pub is in a lovely area, minutes away from West Dean Gardens and about 15 minutes from Chichester. The ensuite accommodation - next door to the pub - was very clean and very comfortable. The food was top-notch: delicious and imaginative.

We stopped off for a meal after visiting the Weald and Downland Museum. We sat outside in the rear garden as the weather was nice. The staff were welcoming and the food excellent. Lots of choice and a good prices. There was a large car park so no problem parking. Well worth a visit.

We stayed overnight in our motor home (Britstops) and were given a friendly welcome by the staff. After enjoying drinks in the nice garden, we had an excellent meal in the bar, accompanied by our Border Collie. The food was delicious, well priced and generous portions. We look forward to a return visit, especially as Centurion Way is just across the road, perfect for Monty.

Stopped off for lunch today after visiting West Dean Gardens. Had a lovely meal, mine was a special, monkfish, winkles with parmesan gnocchi & spinach in a cheese sauce and my wife had ham, egg & chips. Lovely food, and friendly Landlord too!

Came here for a meal with my family of 4, we were the only people eating but we quite liked the peace! The first waitress Rosie was very welcoming. The food was lovely. However, the second waitress was very rude and miserable and made me feel uncomfortable and because of that we will not be returning. Even my 7 year old son picked up on it and asked why she was so rude.
