The burger was really poor, not beefy at all. The chips were like woodworking nails, rock solid sticks of cardboard tasting potato.. literally inedible, not sure if they were refried but either way, very very poor. Mozzarella sticks were really good though and massive with a southern fried crumb.

Overall based on my experience I wouldn't recommend it here. Although everyone else's reviews are great and I had been recommended by a friend, I certainly didn't have the same experience. Disappointed but next time I'll be going back to buns galore in sandy for a proper beefy smash burger and tasty fresh chips.

Just to note, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing on them, just the food.

Wow, if you've not been to the Shack in Biggleswade, you need to go. We went last night and absolutely loved it.
I stupidly didn't book a table because I didn't think we would need to during the week, but it was really busy when we arrived. A good sign that the food is good. Thankfully, they managed to squeeze us in. The service was super, the food took a while but oh my it was so worth it. I had the best halloumi fries I've ever had, not a squeak to be had. They simply melted in your mouth. The flavour of all the dishes was a taste sensation, a little spice, a lot of sticky, a lot of greatness. We obviously did the newbie thing of ordering way too much but they clearly see this often because we were handed a box to bring the goodies home. Will enjoy these goodies today for lunch.
We will definitely go again (and remember to book next time). Huge thanks to Layla, Daniel and Richard who looked after us for the evening. Cant wait to see you again ?

The Shack is hands down the best place I have ever been for a burger, this opinion has also been shared by everyone I have introduced to this fine establishment.

Not only is the food always hot and delicious the staff are always very friendly and make you feel very welcome.

First time visiting The Shack and immediately greeted by the friendliest gentleman! We didn't have a booking but there was a lucky table for us and we were served our food and drinks quickly! The menu is just, wow. A little bit of everything you could fancy! All was fresh and absolutely delicious. I would say that if you aren't a fan of spice, let them know when ordering, it was my first time having macaroni cheese with a kick, which I enjoyed but it may not be for everyone! Ask for without seasoning. Highly recommended and cannot wait to go back. My only downside of feedback would be, the seats are a little on the small side (which I understand it's a small venue) but other than that, amazing!! ✨

We have visited first time today and it was a pleasant surprise! Decor is very cool and burgers are super tasty! We had double shack, chicken burger Don-Le-Clay and chicken wings. Wow it’s was yummy!

Today we went to The Shack for the first time. I loved the atmosphere and modern interior. We ordered milkshakes for drinks. 2x Kinder bueno and 1x Oreo. Amazing thick and chunky! I ordered the Mac Beefy a double beef patty with mac n cheese. Crispy smashed meat, very tender. The buns were crispy with a strong taste of butter. The Mac n cheese worked amazing inside thick and creamy cheese sauce. The burgers were huge and were very filling. On the side I got the halloumi fries, Mozzarella Sticks, breaded cream cheese jalapeño peppers and sticky situation bbq chicken tenders. My favourite sides were the Mozzarella sticks and Halloumi fries. Nicely seasoned and fried perfectly. The tenders were amazing but next time I would go for a different sauce as I personally didn’t like the bbq sauce on top. Huge tenders and really good chicken! Lastly I didn’t like the stuffed cheese jalapeño peppers as the cream cheese was a bit watery, with the fried breadcrumb around it falling off the jalapeño easily as well. Personally these were a pass. Everything else was delicious, I really enjoyed it!

Lovely place with delicious food and amazing staff. It was our first time going to the Shack today and we already planned on going another time very soon. There are so many options for food and drinks and everything we had was absolutely incredible.
