In the grand scheme of sheds, this particular one is top drawer, offering ethical coffee from the DRC, an extensive menu of freshly produced food and a spacious layout.

Beware! An elderly woman was waiting in line who made a comment about the waitress being extremely slow...The Manager bustled out and totally shamed her age and referred to her being old and ugly....the Cafe was packed...(with elderly people too) he was most unprofessional...we ended up feeling sorry for the woman who did not shout but made a hasty comment...the thought being was the man could have handled it in a proper way. We were disgusted....every senior person there that uncomfortable. Who wants to witness a man bullying an elderly lady.it was appalling and on his behavior alone we have all of us found a more pleasant Cafe where staff do not suffer from Ageism

Great place for a sandwich cake or coffee, they have seating inside and outside but inside area gets full very quickly
particularly when raining outside.

What a great cafe, would get my business every time I'm in Taunton at lunchtime (or indeed coffee/cake time). Taunton may well have other nice cafes, but I doubt you'd do better for daytime food/snacks/drinks than this place.

This is a really well run little cafe down by the river in Goodlands Gardens. Space inside is limited so it's best to plan ahead and arrive early for breakfast or lunch.
The cakes are delicious and the freshly prepared food items for breakfast and lunch meals are excellent and filling.
Seating outdoors in warmer weather and toilet facility available. Dog friendly too.
