Me and my partner stayed in Jimmy’s Hut with our 2 small dogs, the whole experience was 100%. The accommodation was spotless, the Hot tub was fantastic and all in it was a great night away. Mary is lovely with helpful information on places to go and see, eat etc. lovely touches when we arrived with biscuits for the dogs, crisps for us and a bottle of Prosecco. Also nice touch with milk, tea for in the morning, including some nibbles for breakfast. Mary has created a high end stay and has just thought of everything to make your stay an enjoyable, relaxing and perfect night away. Definitely would recommend to anyone if looking for a relaxing, peaceful night or two, along with the hot tub you are guaranteed a memorable stay. Can’t sit to get back soon!

We had a great weekend at the shepherd's rest. The host mary was very helpful an give us plenty of info. The huts or luxury an they have everything you need. The view is fantastic we would definitely return.

My partner and I stayed in Hut 2 with our little pup. This stay was a gift for my 30th and I could not have asked for anything better. The whole experience was beautiful. The cabin was spotless, the outside 'patio' area was so cosy and the hot tub was just the cherry on the top. Mary is so so lovely with helpful information about places to eat that were on our route down the coast. The wee touches when we arrived were such a nice surprise, with biscuits for the pup, crisps, heating already on and a cheeky bottle of cava! The breakfast nibbles and milk were fantastic too. You can really see how much Mary has created a high-end glamping stay and has thought of everything little thing to make your stay an enjoyable and relaxing one. I would 100% recommend this to anyone. We will be back with friends and family! Thank you so so much guys! xx

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Shepherds Rest, and it exceeded all of my expectations. The location, with its picturesque ocean views in County Antrim and surrounding North Channel, is absolutely stunning. The lodge was immaculately clean and tidy, and the amenities provided were of the highest quality. The wood-fired private hot tub was a fantastic addition, bringing a touch of luxury to our stay. We stayed for 2 nights and it was absolutely amazing... the cabin had everything that we needed. Bathrobes, sleepers, towels, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer...
Kitchen had everything - cuttlery, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, frying pan, pots.... there was a small oven with hot plate on top, kettle, toaster, coffee machine...
The fridge was well stocked when we arrived. We had milk, butter, yoghurts, juices, jam, ice cubes in the freezer. Also some cookies, pancakes, tea, coffee pods and a bottle of Proseco...
Outside we had a picnic table so we were able to have breakfast outside. There was also a barbecue and a coffee table with 2 chairs...
The hot tub was absolutely amazing and we used it every evening while we were there...
The host Mary was absolutely amazing. So friendly and inviting... she made sure we were ok and checked on us during our stay.
The location is so great. Very peaceful and quiet....
I will definitely book again....

Just spent the night in Dan hut 3. Views amazing, hosts amazing and the quality of everything amazing.
We even had a Bbq before we spend the evening relaxing in the our own private hot tub. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and we will definitely be back. The only disappointment was I only booked 1 night

Just spent a lovely evening at Shepherds Rest. So relaxing and Mary was so accomodating. Views amazing, chalets so clean and the hot tub just the icing on the cake. Already booked for another stay.
