Stayed at Andrew's B+B for one night to see a concert at The Trades Club. Andrew is such a nice and welcoming host, everything was uncomplicated and easy. Beautiful and cosy rooms and lounge, full english breakfast in the morning. Perfect location for exploring Hebden Bridge. Thank you, Andrew!

Absolutely perfect! We arrived and were welcomed by Andrew who showed us to our room which looks over the canal and park. Andrew gave us a brief tour of the property, asked our breakfast preferences and left us to it. We had an amazing night's sleep woken only by the ducks outside, had a lovely shower with all the amenities we needed and thoroughly enjoyed breakfast.
The Smithery is located very conveniently only a short walk from the station or the town centre.
Andrew was a fantastic host, friendly and welcoming and super helpful, but also left us to enjoy our getaway.
I wholeheartedly would recommend The Smithery with Andrew for anyone visiting Hebden Bridge.

I recently spent a few nights at The Smithery and I simply cannot fault it. Andrew is an excellent host and a font of information with regards to the local attractions and walks; the breakfasts were super, the bedroom comfortable and inviting, the shower room perfect and the location of the BnB ideal for exploring the beautiful town of Hebden Bridge. Andrew was discretely around whenever I needed him, otherwise I was left to my own devices. I felt that I was staying in a friend's home for the entire time I spent there and I would not hesitate in returning and recommending The Smithery to friends and family alike. Thank you Andrew for a memorable visit, I could not have been made to feel more welcome.

The Smithery is a wonderful place to stay while you are in West Yorkshire. The accommodations are first rate with cozy clean rooms. The view outside my window was breathtaking. The breakfast that Andrew (the owner) made me each morning was outstanding. Andrew was also a delight with his knowledge of the area. The Smithery is located within a few minutes walk of the train station and was easy to find. Andrew met me at the door and gave me a tour of the place. Hebden Bridge is also a delightful town to wander around. I had absolutely no complaints about my visit and will definitely go back.

Lovely little place in the centre of Hebden Bridge. Andrew is extremely friendly and welcoming, and it feels like you've got your own little place here. Amazing breakfast and nice to be right on the canal in the building everyone seems to take photos of.

We had a wonderfully comfortable stay courtesy of Andrew. He was very generous with giving us space in the house. The views on the canal side are lovely, the rooms and beds are comfortable, the bathroom is great and the breakfast was delicious and made with care. We are looking for an excuse to return.

We visited Hebden Bridge for a gig at The Trades Club and booked the Smithery for the night. Andrew was a great host;he made sure we had everything we needed and breakfast was very tasty. The cottage is lovely and looks out onto the canal, park and river Calder. Its is a few minutes walk into the centre of Hebden Bridge and there is parking close by. A very pleasant stay, we will definitely be back.
