A spa day was booked, with lunch. I totally agree with other reviews of this “Spa”
Extremely disappointing, it is not really a spa, it is more like a hotel that has a Dip pool with a
Couple of extra rooms, which they use for treatments and they are marketing as a spa.
One positive would be that the ladies working in the Spa were lovely.
There is a distinct lack of seating around the pool area, which is the only area of the spa
Only one, two seater sofa (which needs a good clean) , 3 egg chairs, two relaxation beds, which
During our visit we were unable to get near as constantly being used. There are 6 sun loungers which
Despite signage, were all “saved” by other guest leaving their belongings on them.
The steam “room” is the size of a broom cupboard, couple of bigger guys in there and no room for anyone else
Sauna is once again very small, but suffice. No jacuzzi in this venue !
The ladies changing rooms leave a lot to be desired and are akin to old council swimming pools of the 1970’s
Only 1 toilet in the changing rooms for ladies, 2 shower “cubicles”
Shower area’s around the pool need a good deep clean as does the rest of the area, tiles are grubby looking. It appears very tatty and rundown
Even the windows around the pool (which look out to the car park ) are very grubby. Even the wooden ceiling above the pool
Needs a re- varnish in fact the whole spa needs a refurb.
25 minute treatment was a disappointment – when I booked the day, I informed them I had a nut allergy and was
Assured that they had other alternatives from nut oil based creams etc.
On the day, I could not have the booked treatment as they DO NOT have alternatives of lotions and potions
Ended up having a leg and foot massage , which to be quite honest, wasn’t worth laying in a tatty treatment room for
