We came in today to use the spa that was booked for a birthday treat for myself that was paid for by my mum. I was hugely disappointed with what we experienced!
We arrived and was told to fill out forms as we were new users. Myself suffers with eczema and my mum suffers with arthritis. This was shown on the forms.
I then continued to my massage that was done by a young lady. She didn’t ask if I had any allergies considering of eczema asked me to pick from three oils she had available. I returned home with a very itchy back and wasn’t sure of the name or what type of the product she used. The communication from her was very minimal and I wasn’t felt very welcomed on entrance. As a qualified masseuse myself it’s important you cater for every individual person. I had lots of nots in my back and this was known and voiced but the skills she had was very basic with her massage technique and she continued to do the same thing for half an hour. After that we then entered the jacuzzi room. We could not use the jacuzzi because it was freezing cold. So we had to sit on chairs for the remaining hour. We had this booked for three hours but had nothing else to do in this time period so left early. We then went for a shower inside the changing rooms to find this was extremely cold and we couldn’t use that either! Other guests also said the same thing. I couldn’t wash the oil off. We don’t expect to pay £130 to have a basic massage and then be sat on chairs for an hour!
I was extremely disappointed as a birthday treat and have had other massages and used spa facilities and paid a lot less! I wouldn’t have paid no more than £50 for the whole experience. It was un personable and felt like a student hang out.
The place is not welcoming and has no proper organisation skills when it comes to providing treatments. I would not visit this place again!

Spa review only.
Footspas currently broken.ladies loo broken. Bucket broken. Very busy and noisy. Single ladies loo light broken so unusable.
Only loungers outside!
No where to sit inside.
Hydro pool warm not hot and only has back jets- mild bubbles. Not really a hydro pool at all.
Single sauna and steam room busy and no lights/aromatherapy.
Disappointed not really a spa don’t know how they charge full price when 2/6 not working!. Go elsewhere.

It makes me laugh. People are quick to leave negatives but not the positive. It’s a lovely community pool and spa. Play area is cheap and great for small children. Helps people with disabilities and staff are always helpful

Men’s only changing room shower being broken for over a month is absolutely typical to how the spa is run. The sauna isn’t cleaned properly so the wood benches are grimy as well as chipped and loose

Be aware:

1) if you want to cancel your membership you have to do so a month in advance alternatively they will make you pay for a month that you are not planning on going at all/away from the country altogether. Do it over email and not over the phone because you will end up paying for an extra month, as your request could be lost. I was told this rule is in their terms of use, but Ts and Cs themselves are impossible to find, I literally looked everywhere online and couldn’t find them, and St Sidwell point general terms don’t mention this rule! So I feel like I’m being fooled!

2) Apparently they have a separate wait list for guests, as a member you are allowed 2 guest passes a month, however it’s impossible to plan these visits as turns out the guest capacity can be fully booked and there is no way to check this yourself. Even if the booking system says that there are still multiple spaces available to book, they won’t allow you a guest.

I am extremely disappointed as today is the last day of my membership, that I wanted to be cancelled a month ago, but was made to pay for an additional month, during which I literally couldn’t visit as I was away, until this weekend and I can’t even bring a visitor. £65 wasted! So be careful! I hate to have learnt it this way!

I’ve just had the best treatment I have ever had with Courtney! I booked a pregnancy massage and a facial and she merged them together and it was the best thing ever! Thank you so much, highly recommend!

Always clean. Staff are so lovely. Friendly. Everyone's so nice. Relaxing vibe too.
It's not the largest Spa. But location is ideal and the cleanliness is incredibly impressive.
Highly recommended.

Great service but unfortunately the bucket and 2 foot spas didn't work and we had no pre warning about this which could have tipped our view of booking
