We’ve been coming to The Spa Hotel for over 5 years now, we’ve spent 2 NYE’s (2022 & 2023) and have a fabulous stay every time, we always recommend the place to friends and family whatever the season it’s a wonderful place to stay as a couple, as a family and with friends.
Nat was so helpful when I called to see what availability the hotel had last minute and quickly got us booked in to a lovely modern room on the ground floor.
We stayed for 2 nights this time enjoying breakfast and dinner at the hotel on both days. Every meal was excellent, huge portions & absolutely delicious.
Ste and his team looked after us in the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble for any of the team.
A lovely first weekend of spring, even the sunshine came out to play we will be back!

Amazing baby shower from start to finish. Everything from staff, service, food and drinks was 5 star.
The spa sorted absolutely everything so all we had to do was turn up on the day and enjoy which was perfect. The staff all went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and stress free.

Went for a family lunch 4 of us, and selected from the February menu, 3 course lunch for a reasonable £25 each. Service from front of house staff was excellent and stunning views from the restaurant. The restaurant was busy, almost all seating occupied. I had soup for starter, was delicious, and the warm bread was a perfect addition. I really thought we were in for a treat, right up until main course arrived, fish and chips, fish had a strong ammonia smell (usually an indicator that it’s not as fresh as it could be) and the batter was, well pretty much like a Yorkshire pudding it was that thick. Not at all edible. I’m surprised I haven’t had my head down the porcelain after the little I did consume. The rest of our party had, burger (also not the best) another fish (also didn’t get eaten) and a parmo (half was consumed, and I was told that it tasted pretty good). So I really think those responsible for the kitchen need to take a better look at the menu, food storage, rotation etc. personally though, I won’t be back to find out if this has been implemented. It’s a shame really, because the staff and views are fantastic, hence the 3 stars. There are way better places in Saltburn to eat, with kitchen staff that actually care about the quality of the food they serve.

Visited recently while on holiday and had an evening meal here for my 60th birthday. As we had our dog with us we were in the bar area. It is a really lovely space. The staff were great. So friendly and helpful. We had the Sunday roast. I had the nut roast and my husband had the beef. The servings were huge and the quality fantastic. Extremely good value for money. Would definitely return

We went for a meal for my husband's birthday, it was fabulous. The decor is stylish but cosy, the staff were kind, helpful and friendly, the food was delicious with large enough portions and reasonably priced; best of all it's a dog friendly place with a special menu just for them! We will definitely come again soon.

Attended NYE party with friends. Everything was amazing. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly especially Ste, Jay and Sophie. The food was delicious. The tables, decoration and service was superb. The singer and DJ was fabulous providing music for all tastes. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening dancing, eating, drinking, playing on the casino tables. A great evening with special friends. Thank you Spa hotel.

Called in at the Spa Hotel with my wife to book a afternoon tea and decided to eat whilst there. We were quickly shown to a table by Naomi and after a few minutes Steve arrived to take our order. As we were between breakfast and lunch we were offered both options. We decided to go for the breakfast option I got the Yorkshire breakfast and my wife eggs royale. The food came quickly and was very tasty and we both felt good value for money. Both Steve and Naomi were very pleasant and sociable and made us feel welcome. I would revisit the Spa again based on this experience. If I could offer one piece of constructive feedback it would be it did get a little warm when the sun came out so might have been good for a bit of air con especially on warmer days

Went for a meal on a Sunday. We had pre booked a table, and I would recommend doing so as it was busy. Didn't feel rushed or packed in, though. Lovely staff. Very happy and friendly. Sunday lunch was amazing. It was very tasty and a good choice of veg. The beef was perfection. Other meals included a parmo, which had lots of chips. I had creme brulee for dessert, gorgeous. I will be going back. Highly recommend for food, views, friendly staff, and dining experience.
