Just had the most delightful first visit to this breakfast spot! The Truffle Scrambled Eggs on Brioche, sprinkled with Parmesan, were an absolute delight – a unique and flavorful combination that left my taste buds in awe. The presentation was impeccable, truly a feast for the eyes as well.

To accompany this, we indulged in a rich hot chocolate that perfectly complemented our meal, and a cheesecake that rounded off our breakfast adventure splendidly.

The staff's friendliness and their accommodation, despite a bustling morning rush, was impressive. They suggested a short wait to ensure a great dining experience, showcasing their commitment to quality service. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!

A great place to stop for a coffee or tea in Portsmouth! I would say I’d go out of my way to come back again. It’s small inside but if you can get a place to sit, the food is delicious and the service is warm and friendly.

They took into consideration our dietary requirements and made us the cheese croissant without ham.

A distinct coffee shop with amazing food and coffee. The food menu is unique and delicious, I have never tried most of the items on the menu anywhere else and if I did, this place just blows them out of the water. One of the only food places worth visiting in Portsmouth.

Incredible coffee served here! The cappuccino had a great strong taste and the cheesecake was delicious, fluffy and creamy plus a generous slice so would be perfect to share. Quite a few seats and a nice atmosphere inside.

Small friendly café probably producing the best cappuccino in Southsea.
Only a few cake options but they clearly focus on quality and detail. For example, I was impressed by the flavour of the strawberry that came with the gorgeous baked cheesecake. Turned out it was a premium quality strawberry, where most people wouldn't bother.
Very few options for lunch but it's not their focus so it's good it's there.
The music often feels too repetitive for my taste but hey, it won't stop me visiting religiously.
Rüme also seems to attract friendly locals if you fancy an interesting chat.
