We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at The Story Pig.
Both the nut roast and pork were absolutely delicious—full of flavour and beautifully cooked. The cauliflower and broccoli cheese, carrots and potatoes were just perfect. It all felt like a truly comforting, home-cooked meal.

On an extremely cold day, the warm, cosy atmosphere inside the barn was so welcoming. We also loved browsing through the lovely products made from the farm’s own produce, and we couldn’t resist taking home some of the fabulous cakes on offer—though it was tough to choose!

A fantastic experience all around, and we’ll definitely be back!

We had an absolutely delightful experience at The Story Pig in Sherborne! Their Full English Breakfast was nothing short of spectacular. The locally sourced ingredients were bursting with flavor, and everything was cooked to perfection. The bacon was crisp, the sausages were juicy, and the eggs were exactly how we like them.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a charming rustic vibe that made us feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience. It’s clear that a lot of care and passion go into both the food and the service here.

If you’re in Sherborne and looking for an exceptional breakfast spot, The Story Pig is an absolute must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Two beautifully decorated tipis in the Somerset countryside. This quirky little cafe is located at a pig farm and is only open on certain days of the week. On your way into the cafe there are diggers and a fair bit of building work. It gives the impression of a busy farm. It also makes you question whether you are in the right location as the cafe isn't immediately visible. If you persevere the produce is fresh and has a Swedish influence to it. The staff are friendly and the cakes are amazing. Definitely a cafe that is worth a visit.

My first experience of these guys was from the amazing sausages and bacon they sold at Bath farmers market. Probably the best sausages I’ve ever bought! Don’t often get time to get down to Dorset, but their farm and cafe is a truly beautiful spot with such a peaceful atmosphere. Wonderful food in such a picturesque setting absolutely cannot be beaten!

Went for Sunday lunch a nice meal very good pork but no green vegetables just roast potatoes parsnips and carrots the food warm but not hot. Overpriced at £20. We thought dessert included but it was not. Very rustic uncomfortable bench and not very warm a large area heated only with patio heaters.

I'm sure a lovely place to go to on a warm summers day outside with great views.

Bit of a mixed review as the setting is beautiful and the farm is lovely to walk around. The food however is a bit expensive when compared to other farm shop/cafe hybrids in the area. The hot offering was a breakfast roll (see picture) and considering the £8 price tag I guess I expected more than what I was presented with. The cakes and coffee however were very pleasant and coupled with the view was a nice experience.

Amazing little gem! Right in amongst rolling hills with panoramic views, on a working farm. Plenty of space, lovely herb/ lavender garden, tasty homemade cakes, tea coffee and porky treats all served up in a huge tippee. Not been open long but when word gets out I guarantee this won't be a secret for long.

Came here for pizza night. Good tasting pizza and you can tell the ingredients are very fresh. They also have beer, cider, and Prosecco in bottles.

The view is absolutely wonderful on a summer day. You order at the counter and food is brought out to you as you wait outside on the lawn. There are several tables, but it’s best to consider it more like a picnic than a sit-down place.

A fun addition is being able to watch the baby pigs playing in a nearby pen.

I did not find the price unreasonable. 4 of us had a drink and a pizza each (with plenty left over) for £60.
