On first arrival everything was straight forward. Lovely big room, air con was powerful was well needed after long days out in heat. Remained on if needed throughout until turnt off.

Condiments plenty of also nice to have biscuits in room. A clean very comfortable and staff very friendly.

Highly recommend.

The location was perfect for the town and one of the cheaper hotels. The downside was no on-site or street parking. There is a car park behind the pub but it's expensive at ÂŖ30 per day. We parked a 5 minute walk away (in Holman's Meadow) for half the price. If you're only staying the night both car parks charge ÂŖ2 overnight (9pm to 7.30am). The staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and of a good size. The room we were in had an opening skylight as opposed to a window and although it made a humming noise when part opened, it did not stop us sleeping. The food was ok, tasty and cheap. Breakfast could have been warmer. Lunch was better, and best of all - the warm cookie dough sandwich; the only thing I remembered to take a photo of! Well, that, my sparkly shoes and the Hugo spritz cocktail 😉

This is a great hotel right in the heart of Canterbury. Brilliant staff- incredibly helpful. Our room was lovely - tea tray restocked every day. The beds were really comfortable.

Great location for the town. Massive room and great layout for the disabled guests. Great to have a pub restaurant downstairs if you didn't want to venture out. Was very quiet Only downside was the parking which had to be off site. Otherwise spot on!

After a long and tiring day in Canterbury, we checked into The Thomas Ingoldsby JD Wetherspoon Hotel, hoping for a good experience as it was our first time booking with JD Wetherspoon. Thankfully, the room exceeded our expectations.

It was spacious, cozy, and had all the necessary facilities, especially in the bathroom, which was well-equipped and clean. Although there was no room service, everything else made up for it.

Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. We truly enjoyed it and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Canterbury. A solid 100% recommendation from us!

Extremely quite considering how loud the bar downstairs can get. Comfortable bed. Tea, coffee, and snacks in your room. Our room only had a skylight but it provided enough light.

Lovely atmosphere here, staff is always lovely and proffesional. The new gentleman serving upstairs this evening (short brown hair with glasses) is a great new addition here, friendly service and a great smile. It's always nice to go somewhere with lovely staff. Thank you!!

Stayed the weekend just gone me and my wife who are blind and physically sighted all staff from bar staff to hotel staff really and truly went above and beyond helping us in all aspects of our stay. Including carrying drinks up to the room for us when it got busy.
Definitely come back again.
Only down side of the room is that for people with bad back bed are hard so you will have to bring something with or ask the staff for help like we did.
And on that note a big big thank you to a the saff at the weatherspoons
