Lovely little pub. Food was delicious. The staff were super lovely. Couldn't do enough for you. We got there a few minutes before 12 and they were so welcoming. Thank you so much

Cold and not inspiring. Although the welcome was cheerful, the meal was poor. The scampi was quite nice but the fish was somewhat awful. Sorry guys only 1 star. If you look on the positive side that would have been 2 if marked out of 10.

Check before going!!!
Called in but closed for private event. No signs until you have parked and walked right to the door. Cant even see sign as you drive by as sign on internal door!
Not impressed. Wont try a second visit. Poor.

Good to see an unspoiled traditional pub.
Friendly staff and nice food, though it did take a while coming.

Stopped off for a drink whilst on a long walk with 16 others on a sunny day. Good selection of beers, Robin Hood beer from Home Ales was excellent. Lovely large beer garden with shade and plenty of spaces for everyone to sit together. Bar staff were really friendly and helpful and gave us tap water as we had run out. Would definitely return for a meal and possibly see the 'shy cat'. Lovely place.

Good decent 'real' pub in a village where food led pubs seem to rule. Nice live sports, well run and efficient service. Beer range it's all HUK, shame then no Brixton or Cruz surprisingly but did have Neck Oil (like everywhere does now..). A decent pub with nice folk
