I’ve had the pleasure of dining at The Three Horseshoes in Barton Under Needwood numerous times, and I can confidently say that it has consistently exceeded my expectations. The food here is nothing short of fantastic each dish is crafted with care and attention to detail, showcasing a wonderful blend of flavours that never fails to impress.

The service is equally commendable. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always on point, creating an inviting atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable. They go above and beyond to ensure that guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. The staff really do value the customers.

, I also had the opportunity to stay at their bed and breakfast this year, and it was a fantastic experience. The accommodations are comfortable and well-maintained, making it an ideal choice for anyone visiting the area, whether it's family or friends. The staff's hospitality shines through in the B&B as well, adding to the overall charm of the place.

Through the Covid pandemic this pub also did deliveries locally and again every week the food would come piping hot. This pub does a lot for the community and it’s a pleasure to visit the pub.

Overall, The Three Horseshoes is a gem in Barton Under Needwood. With its exceptional food, excellent service, and warm accommodations, it’s a place I highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining or lodging experience.

What a find! We went here because We couldn't park anywhere at Barton Marina. I glad we did. We had the place almost to ourselves, great service and really lovely food. We both had the cheese burger which was beautifully presented and very tasty.
For dessert we had a baked Alaska ! Now how many places offer that? Baked fresh of course and very yummy. Visit the marina if you can park but make sure you eat here first for a great all round treat.

We had a wonderful evening with a couple of pints from local breweries in the more modern backroom, which is quite nice, and they also have another bar upfront with more traditional setting, which looked great.

Great steak night food and wine. Reasonable prices. Although we were disappointed with our deserts, we would go back again for the offer.

Looking for a brilliant village local pub with really well-kept beer and good wine? Great, you've found one. Looking for a pub where you can have really good, tasty, simple bar meals by an open fire? Great, you've found one. Looking for a restaurant that does high-end, innovative gastro food with a focus on local ingredients and a rotating specials menu? You've found that too. An absolute gem of a place, becoming a regular haunt for my wife and I and our little 3 year old who always gets a warm reception for an evening treat. Great staff, too.
