Nice looking old pub on a junction in central London. Good 80's music playing and the bar area is good looking (not a trendy place for decor, which is okay!), with typical old features and a cosy atmosphere.
Sadly, food portions (for adults) are not big enough, and prices are too high! Some food items were forgotten, but apologetic staff and discount given.

Lovely pub, traditional decor. Friendly team who served the Sunday roast incredibly quickly on a Sunday evening. Thinly sliced beef roast with proper crispy potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and trimmings. Views out to the green park over the road. Highly recommended.

The Three Stags is a gem of a pub that truly delivers on every front. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances traditional charm with a modern edge. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel at home, whether you’re popping in for a quick bite, meeting friends for a meal, or just looking to relax over a cup of tea.

The staff here go above and beyond to make your visit special. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they make sure every detail is taken care of without being intrusive. They’re knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations, which is a great touch when you’re unsure of what to try. You really get the sense that they care about providing a memorable experience for every customer.

The food is simply outstanding. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and made with what seemed like the freshest ingredients. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care goes into their menu. What’s even better is that they offer gluten-free options, making it accessible for those with dietary restrictions. It’s always a relief to find a place where gluten-free doesn’t mean compromising on taste or variety.

What really surprised me was how good the tea was. It’s rare to find a place that puts so much attention into something as simple as tea, but it was perfectly brewed and served with care. It complemented the meal wonderfully and showed that even the smallest details are important here.

Overall, The Three Stags offers everything you could want in a pub and more. It’s a place I can see myself coming back to time and time again, not just for the fantastic food and drinks, but also for the welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service. Highly recommended to anyone in the area—you won’t be disappointed!

Had 2 nights in the nearby Premier Inn and the Three Stags was very close so we went in for an evening meal. We had a Lamb hot pot and a Chicken Pie. It was really good. A very cosy pub with very friendly bar staff.

What an amazing place, we ate several meals here including lunch and dinner. We were traveling with friends and the staff, especially Arthur our server was exceptional. Our group could be a bit indecisive at time but Arthur never missed a beat, was always available and provided excellent service.

A very festive atmosphere, inviting and fun. The food was delicious, while it is typical pub food there are menu items that go beyond that. The beer was cold and our glasses were never empty.

We will return on our next trip to London.

Wonderful pub. We were there a few months back and loved sitting in the sun drinking some amazing beers and enjoying the fantastic food. One of the best pubs we visited in the UK.
