Was a bit of a letdown.

There are authentic-looking Indian dishes that are hard to find in mainstream Indian restaurants, but the implementation is lacking. The lemonade was too sour, and the ghee beef roast tasted too burnt to enjoy. The spices felt misproportioned.

The dishes are a bit pricey for the portions too, but guess that is par for the area. They have attempted to get that local Indian eatery ambience, but it does not work for me. The service it decent. Overall, I feel there are better Indian eateries in the city at comparable prices.

Amazing delicious authentic Indian food in Cambridge. I am very impressed that the love for Indian cuisine has reached such high. I was visiting Cambridge and am truly impressed with the quality of not only food but such great service for the team at The Tiffin Truck. This was my 5th visit to Tiffin Truck, and once again, it did not disappoint. Despite how busy it was, the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. I didn’t have to wait in a queue or for a booking. Also, they made sure everything ran smoothly and that we were well taken care of. They checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything, which showed genuine hospitality.

The service was impressively quick! Our food arrived in under 20 minutes. Everything we ordered was delicious, and they followed our directions and specific requests perfectly. The kale salad, as always, was a standout: fresh, flavorful, and consistently great.

Tiffin Truck continues to deliver excellent food, fast service, and a warm, attentive atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit!

I had the chicken tikka and chicken curry with rice, and I was genuinely impressed by the generous portion size, especially considering the reasonable pricing. It truly hits that sweet spot of premium-quality dining on a budget. The ambience is laid-back and casual, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal without any fuss. The staff were incredibly quick, efficient, and super friendly, which just added to the overall great experience. I absolutely loved it and would definitely go again!

OMG get yourself to The Tiffin Truck!
The Archai Fish Tikka with lime, mint & yoghurt sauce was to die for. Depths of flavours on the salmon combined with the sauce was a match in heaven! It stole the night!
The Masala Dosa was incredible (think of gigantic savoury pancake) with a vegetable filling- yum!
The Prawn Vepudu for starter was so tasty, but hot!
Mains:The Junglee Lamb Curry which was woven with delightful spices.
The Butter Chicken which was warm, inviting and would defo give you a hug on a cold night!
To accompany the mains, we had Vegetable Rice and Aloo Gobi as sides (traditional and packed full of fish our) along with an Onion Raitha dip.
We loved the experience- attentive staff, lovely decor and fast service. The food was delicious, a true Indian cuisine in the heart of Cambridge!!

I ordered the Biryani, Chicken 65, Masala Dosa, Mango Lassi, and Gulab Jamun. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The meal was not only satisfying but also a delightful experience for the taste buds. Highly recommended!

Indian tasty food options are available and are very good quality. Breakfast on weekend only or Thali option is must try.
