We had a 50th birthday bottomless Saturday afternoon party at this place and we had a brilliant time. The staff are a credit nothing was too much trouble. |We had so many drinks served to us and the food was way above what we expected for a party of 30 adults.|Massive thank you to all working on Saturday 31st August you made my wifes party just the best.|I'd been celebrating all day so had no problem with the noise at bedtime , it was loud.|After our party in the club room they even reserved us an area in the main part of the pub for the evening. |My wife and guests had a brilliant day/evening.|xx

Booked for a night after NEC. Basically a self serve B & B. Once through doors to hotel part it’s very rundown and not clean.the room was basic, run down, damp plaster etc.. very noisy from traffic. Breakfast is NOT continental. Packets of cereal and bread to toast. Pre packed croissants and muffins. Just strawberry jam. All drinks are sachets, nothing fresh except jugs of juice.
Sadly the area is run down now too. Little choice for food. Decent pub a short walk with a nice pint.

Not worth the money we paid I am afraid to say. We did report on the first night and the manager was going to get back to us but we didn't hear from him. It is in a great location and maybe the double rooms would be better.

Stayed here twice now.
The rooms are absolutely beautiful. Should be priced more then they are. I've paid more for alot worse lol.

Staff are friendly and have good banter if that's what you give them.

Rooms are beautiful. Set well. Clean and spacious. I love coming here and this is going to me my regular hotel.

Keep up the good work. And keep the bar staff as they are amazing. ?

I booked my room last minute and actually got a room that was a level better than the one I paid for (always fun to get a free upgrade). The location was perfect for an event in town and there is lots nearby within walking distance, including the train station. Room had tea and coffee, as well as a hairdryer. Bathroom was nice and had a bathtub. My only note is that the noise they mention on the weekends is no joke. This is not a complaint, as they do warn about it, but I didn’t imagine how my bed would vibrate from the bass of the music. It is very loud. I did manage to fall asleep with my noise cancelling headphones in, but for lighter sleepers definitely expect to be up during the hours of nightclub operation (it got loud around 11:15 but I believe was done around 2? I was asleep so I’m not certain). Staff was absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful.

We stayed here knowing about the 3am potential noise.we thought we was using the place for the golf at belfry.|The first night food was poorly made. The drinks were ok we was given a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the street.|Thought would be ok. How wrong is as we the window was broken and said do not touch them! Which meant we was awake till 4am|It was like being on a motorway with the boy races driving up and down the high street.|The room was dated and smelt musty.|After the bar kicked out a lot of noise f on|People getting taxis outside.|Left after 1st night was supposed to be staying a 2nd night. Just couldn’t do it|Receptionist was very sorry and said management know about the window issues and chose not to repair.|All in all really would not recommend staying here and dealing with booking.com was a joke

Stayed for one night for an event at Boldmere Football Club. Arrived around 10pm, bar was quiet and staff arrived from in there to check us in. We had paid for parking in the on site car park as it was unclear that residents couldn't park free and there were lots of pay and display signs up.

Keys and directions to our room were quickly provided. Breakfast wasn't mentioned by the receptionist, though a card in the room indicated that we should pre order and that it would be continental only. We had breakfast elsewhere.

The room was pleasantly decorated and clean. The windows are old and did not close which made the road noise very apparent, but we coped for one night.

Although clean, the beds had old lumpy mattresses and cheap thin pillows so it wasn't the comfiest night's sleep. Better mattresses and pillows would make a huge difference.

The bedside lights did not work as the switch was broken.

We didn't go into the rest of the bar, but it looks pleasantly stylish.

We had a small wedding reception at The Assembly Hall private function room at The Townhouse and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredible, a special shout out to Paoula who organised everything so well and was always super quick to respond to my emails!

We had so many compliments on the food, it was beyond our expectations and they were able to cater for all of the different dietary requirements.

Would really recommend to anyone who is looking to plan a party/function!
