We went to have Sunday roast so we ordered drinks and roast dishes for 4 of us. The food was delicious but the waitress kept asking us what if we wanted to order more drinks or desserts but we didn’t want to. I feel that it’s a bit rude if you want to turn the table for other customers by keep asking what if we want to order more food or what if we want to pay bill 😤

Ok…disclaimer: I’ve been here 4 x times in 2024 and recently 03/01/25.

The first couple of times I went here it was actually okay and I even went as far as to organise our office team lunch here as well and no complaints however, the last two times I’ve been here it has really gone downhill and the last time we went was an absolute joke.

The batter on the fish was strange and tasted vile.

I think they’re struggling with staff here hence why food was late and just plain…off par.

For what you pay I think the quality should be far higher.

Plenty of parking and good wheelchair access here.

Food is lovely but the vegan menu needs to be improved rather than just a couple of options. My mother in law ordered some drinks from the bar to come to the table and they took 25 minutes to get to us, she only ordered 4 drinks and had eaten her food by the time she went and grabbed them from the tray that was sitting on the bar. Most of the time if I needed something I was getting up and having to find the waitress or someone to help with what we needed. So the service needs improving but the food was very good.

The food was quite good and they are very dog friendly. It is a confusing mix of non-table and table service. There was hardly anyone there on a Monday lunchtime and we were told someone would be right with us and then no one came. We went to the bar and ordered and then when our food was served no cutlery was brought and we had to get it ourselves. We requested ketchup and the waitperson collected it and brought it to us from the same stand the cutlery turned out to be on but didn't bring cutlery. We had to get up and collect it ourselves. Not ideal...

Although Tudor Rose was extremely busy, staff were still friendly and great. The food quality (look and taste) was also fantastic. Please do let the chef know. To have a busy service and still produce quality is commendable.

Lovely birthday treat.
Placed in secluded area of restaurant as requested.
First time back since renovations.
Best steak ever......cooked to perfection.
Husband enjoyed the sea bass (chillies additional extra).
Disappointed with dessert. Was expecting traditional cheesecake, but charge for these was very kindly removed from the bill.
Lovely, friendly and professional waitresses.
Will definitely go again and recommend to family and friends. Thank you 😊

This was my second visit, and once again, it exceeded my expectations! The three-course meal was absolutely delicious and offered excellent value for money. The service was outstanding, with staff making us feel welcome and well taken care of. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!
