This was an amazing hotel. I really loved everything about it. Suzie was a fantastic host. I would 1000% recommend this hotel. It's in easy access to the main tourist area but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. East access to the sea front. Breakfast was included and you can chat to the staff as they make your breakfast, which was delicious! It has a very homely feeling like you're visiting friends. Will definitely be staying again ❤️❤️

Lovely boutique hotel with warm and welcoming host who went above and beyond. Room was well kept and had all the essentials including fridge, ironing board and iron etc. Breakfast was delicious and hit the spot. Excellent for Gluten and Dairy free. Parking was easy with permit available on arrival.

This B&B is listed by many sites as the best place to stay in Brighton. After our visit, I don’t doubt it’s true. Not having a car, my first impression was that it’s far from anywhere I’d want to be except the beach. Note: the beach is all rocks. It was an easy 20-minute walk from the train station, about 15 minutes to the pier and slightly longer to the Marina. There are buses that can take you everywhere and it’s convenient to bus stops. On the walk from the train we passed a slightly unattractive section of Brighton, the Laines, the Royal Pavilion, and some charming structures. As per reviews we had read, we booked the best room. It was about 40 steps up to the top floor with a king bed and a water view if you looked to your right when at the window. I liked that they had blackout curtains and blinds. The clean room also included plenty of charging ports (including USB), 2 large soft bath towels, delicious cupcakes, cookies, bottles of water a tea kettle, a refrigerator, a tv, an iPad, and a good blow dryer. In the small bathroom, there were gym style containers of conditioner, shampoo, moisturizer, and one liquid soap (for both shower and sink). Towels are replaced every 2 days, more often if requested. The friendly and helpful owner will make either a full English breakfast or one without meat, plus juice and tea. The same each morning the 2 days we were there. Here’s some of the downside, no deal breakers: No heat our first night and i couldn't reach the owner, but the next night she provided an excellent portable heater; No washcloths and no bar soap; Mattress too firm (for me, not for my companion) and squeaky bed frame; The kettle had either scale or old milk inside, so we didn't use it; The carpet looked like it was regularly vacuumed, but had some stains and could use a cleaning; Other than some cobwebs on the ceiling above the bed – the establishment seemed very clean. The owner's recommendations for dinner were excellent.

From start to finish the service was fantastic. Was allowed to check in early, parking permit was waiting and the land lady was extremely friendly. Room was lovely everything you needed and very quiet. Breakfast was out of this world best fry up ever with jam and toast tea/coffee plus juice. Plentiful and I was stuffed afterwards. Highly recommend

Excellent. Welcoming, eclectic, comfortable, and enjoyable. Suzy is a great host. It feels like you are being welcomed into her home, which you are. ||Very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, and an iPad.||A close 2nd to the hospitality of Suzy is the breakfast, Top quality ingredients, well cooked and served with a smile and chat.

A really memorable stay for a night and as soon as we left we wished we had booked a little longer. |Great location, and very easy to find - close to the coast, Laines, shops, restaurants (but also not in the centre of bustle).|Greeted by Telly (the one of the hosts), who was very helpful in giving an overview of vegan and vegetarian restaurants in the area. We extremely friendly and very simple check in. We were offered the options for breakfast with flexibility for dietary/ preferences (breakfast - taste, portion and presentation surpassed expectations!).|The room we booked was very comfortable, clean and exceeded the basics with little details which added a personal touch. Good sized en-suite which was very clean with toiletries provided and a in-keeping claw foot bath. For a period property, the space has been well-thought out, and felt very calming after the journey. |The design of the interior is stunning, and we did have to take a little time to take in the front room/ breakfast space. The hosts, design and experience immediately set The Twenty One above many other places tried in Brighton over the years. Thank you to the hosts (Suzy, Telly) for a memorable stay and the chats with us - hope to be back very soon.

Wow a beautiful b&b so eclectically decorated resulting in so much to look at. We stayed in room 8 on the top floor and it was gorgeous Everything was so clean and well throughout We had such a comfy bed and lovely chairs to look at the sea view. Beautiful breakfast if smoked salmon and bagels. The staff are all so lovely especially the landlady Susie who just goes that extra mile. You will love it there.

Spend 3 fabulous days in Brighton and stayed at The 21 which is just amazing. We had room 3 which is wonderfully decorated in black gold and silver. The bed is really comfortable, 2 nice armchairs to sit in and you can see the sea from the window.|Breakfast was great - it’s cooked on the range oven in the other half of the eclectically decorated breakfast room - everything was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately we couldn’t have breakfast Sunday morning as the poor owner had suffered a nasty accident- but her kindness and care already showed to all the guests previously meant no one was bothered by this and we were more concerned in making sure she was ok and looked after.|I’d definitely stay here again!
