Had flat iron steak with chips. Really tender and tasty steak and the peppercorn sauce was also very good. The chips were good but not exceptional. Great service and not long to wait to be served.

Excellent pub. Nice staff. Chips & salad excellent, Veggy-burger good once you scrape out the sickly-sweet relish and replace it with a little simple mayo.

A lovely old pub that serves the local community. Great selection of beers and wine. Delicious food. Great service. If you're there on a Sunday you must try the roast dinner.

We booked a night here for our wedding anniversary just to get away from it all. We were not disappointed. Such a beautiful location.|We ate in the pub in the evening and the food was lovely.|The room was comfortable and quiet, we slept well and enjoyed a really fantastic breakfast in the morning.|All staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back here again. Thank you.

What a lovely find. We just wanted to get away for a night and found this pub. Room was really lovely, staff were great, food was exceptional and breakfast amazing. Thank you to all for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely return. Phill and Lou.

Booked a meal for two in the bar area which presumably was a part of the bar, but it’s next to the actual bar as a dining area, it’s dog friendly.

Lovely pub in general, restaurant rooms, bar and a big beer garden, loads of parking and really friendly staff.

We both had rump steak med/rare and it was beautiful. Fries were fab, lovely salad with grilled tomato and mushroom. Peppercorn sauce was on point too!

Deserts were crème brûlée and apple crumble and they didn’t disappoint either. This was a great way to celebrate our anniversary.

We’d sat in the beer garden the night before and will be booking another table to eat in two days time.

This place was AMAZING!

There were 17 of us and all went beautifully and the food was delish, that chocolate brownie was to die for!

The staff were soooo friendly and attentive, I wish this pub was closer to home!

Thank you all for a lovely BIG family Sunday dinner!

Nice little pub minutes from the main high street in Canterbury. Small but decent range of beers. Partly covered garden/yard out the back. Lovely staff.
