We came so my husband and son could play golf and I could enjoy the spa (and peace) ?. The spa was great. Lovely and clean and spacious. The pool itself was also fabulous with dedicated family time for those with children.|Upon arrival room wasn't ready as we were early to allow the boys to play golf. I was allowed to use the health club facilities which was great. Once our room was ready Sophie from housekeeping checked we had everything we needed, she was a pleasure to speak to.|A couple of staff on reception may need to look at their customer service skills but all other staff were lovely and helpful. |The food really let the place down. For tea we chose to go to the pub which is a 3 minute drive rather than eat at nothing more than a glorified cafe charging gastro prices. We had already paid for breakfast and had opted to have it to the room due to an early tee off time. At almost 45 minutes late and 3 phone calls to the reception breakfast turned up cold and inedible. The only warm item was the sausages and I mean warm not hot. It was such a let down. I thought I had book an amazing hotel and was really looking forward to it but overall I would say the Tytherington is nice but nothing special.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was great. The pool area was really well kept up. Breakfast was decent. But we would recommend not eating at the “restaurant”. Although the food was fine but basic, the service was not good. Food was coming out and no one knew what table they went to. We were told the wrong table number and not shown to our table. We were told to order at the bar despite it being a restaurant. And then once we ordered someone came and asked had we ordered. So still confused about that. It was just a bit chaotic. But overall we had a good stay.

Recently stayed here for two nights. Warm and welcoming environment. Receptionist very nice both on arrival and departure. Gym facilities excellent. Room clean and large. Would also highly recommend a coffee in the lounge. Would recommend for those looking to relax for a few days.

We stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights on a bed and breakfast basis as we were attending a weddding venue at the nearby Hilltop Country House.||Our first impression from entering the main reception was that of total delight after a very friendly receptionist made us feel very welcome and we knew from our entering the Hotel we had made the perfect choice as oppose to staying at the premier Inn also closeby. ||Looked like the hotel had just been refurbished . The decor etc was lovely and very modern and upon entering our double room on the ground floor we were amazed as to how modern and beautiful it was. Spotlessly clean, lovely decor, beautiful bathroom with walkin shower tea/coffee making facilities, tv, Excellent air cond . Very quiet hotel. We used the pool and spa facilities which was an added bonus at no extra charge.||Downfall unfortunately we would say was the breakfast. A variety to choose from which we would say was great yogurts, toast, croissants etc and lovely coffee but the cooked bacon was like leather and you couldnt cut it so did not attempt to chew it eggs not good didnt even try them, scrambled egg only luke warm and again not good.||Having been disappointed with the breakfast, would we stay there again, yes most probably.

Having being treated to this stay for a special occasion by the company I work for, we arrived Saturday afternoon early for check in, however we were accommodated and given keys to our room early. After check in and a few hours in the spa we went for a drink and sat outside in the sun overlooking the golf course. Checked out the menu for evening meal and tbh are glad we chose to go off site as the choice was limited and far from in keeping with such a venue - not to say expensive for what it is. Breakfast the next day was lovely albeit they had ran out of most items and mugs when we arrived it didn’t take long for them to restock with fresh foods. Loved our child free break and the mega comfy huge bed (I should have found out the type of mattress as could certainly do with one of them at home!) we will definitely book to return one day

We went on a sunny day and sat outside over looking the golf course, it was lovely. The pizza was amazing credit to the chef. We were served by the lovely Tereza who was very friendly and helpful. The outside area was kept very clean and tidy making it a lovely experience over all.

Stayed here as part of a friend's wedding at a venue nearby. This hotel is lovely. Excellent facilities, ease of check in, great breakfast, spacious room, comfortable room temperature, plenty of parking. Will definitely be looking to stay again.

Whilst the hotel itself is lovely, the staff are the complete opposite. The night manager Jakub is extremely rude, was antagonising guests and overall a poor excuse for a hotel worker. Customer service was the worst I have experienced. Food was sub par and not all facilities were available, despite receiving an email stating they were.
