Just back from a lovely weeks stay at The Coach House. Perfect place for an 'easy' holiday with young children - we all loved the resident sheep, pigs and adorable dogs. 2 vintage tractors were also a massive highlight for our 3 year old! We swam in the pool, which was lovely and warm. The cottage is gorgeous - lovely decor and fresh flowers in the rooms. Plus super comfy beds and pillows (so important for a holiday let but often overlooked!) homemade muffins and delicious jam were a welcoming touch, plus the bottle of wine was much appreciated!! There's loads to do in the area - Bath, Bowood, Lacock, Longleat, Highclere, etc. All in all we had a great break and will definitely return!

What a fantastic place to stay this is! We have recently returned from a fabulous week at The Coach House and enjoyed every second of it. The cottage is perfectly placed to visit lots of different locations. We managed trips to Lacock, Castle Combe, Bristol, Avebury, Devizes (Caen Hill and Wadworth Brewery Tour) and Bradford on Avon. The cottage itself is fabulous and has everything you need. We were really lucky with the weather and managed to make use of the pool and tennis courts. Also made use of the BBQ and outdoor sitting area in April. These facilities really are a bonus. We loved the setting the cottage was in and found the walks across the field to the local pub (The Westbrook) really easy; even for a 30 week pregnant woman. Views from the balconies were outstanding and we were wowed from the minute we walked in. Overall the property is furnished and decorated to a high standard, though some areas could possibly use a bit of a touch up. Fiona and Matthew are so welcoming and friendly, they are really helpful and answer and questions or solve problems you have. || The help even extends to fishing wedding rings out of the swimming pool. You get so much privacy even though the cottage is on their property. We particularly loved the resident dogs, one of which sat outside the cottage door waiting for us to come out and throw sticks for her. All in all a fantastic place to stay and we look forward to returning in the future with the growing family.

We spent a week in the beautiful Coach House over New Year with my son and girlfriend joining us for 3 nights. Very impressed, We received a warm welcome with a lovely real Christmas tree, bottle of Champagne waiting and homemade meringues. the house was lovely and warm with underfloor heating and a wood burner for the evenings which wasn't needed but it looked lovely. Very spacious and the beds were very comfortable, best sleep we have had in ages.Beautiful views and perfect place for a peaceful rest and to relax but also ideal base for Visiting Bath, Longleat, Castle Coombe and Lacock. We will return in summer to enjoy the outside pool and gardens and the games room. Highly recommended Thank you Fiona.

The Old Vicarage is simply delightful (we stayed B&B in the main house rather than the sumptuous looking Coach House). Fiona is the perfect hostess (and provider of an exceptional breakfast,). Our room was so comfortable and the bed is made with the crispest, whitest linen imaginable. Combine this with a dreamy setting with stunning views towards the Mendips and lambs gamboling in the fields and you have the perfect place for a peaceful retreat.

This is a lovely lovely house for a couple or a family with children. We particularly appreciated home made jam and cakes. There is a great swimming pool with diving board and a games room with pool, table tennis and a punch bag. The tennis courts are fab. ||The house itself is sumptuous and very clean. Very peaceful despite my noisy children!||Would love to return.

We have just returned from our second "girls weekend away" at the Coach House. Once again everything was perfect! Fiona and her family are always very welcoming and accommodating and the house and grounds/facilities are cosy, comfortable and homely! We can't fault anything and can't seem to stop coming back!!
