I had a birthday party at the Villa recently with 200 guests and used all the hotel bedrooms. Katherine the co -ordinator was excellent. Nothing too much trouble and extremely helpful. The staff were exceptionally helpful no complaints about any of the bedrooms. We had an excellent buffet. The staff were on hand all night in case you needed some thing. I would have another function there at the drop.of a hat. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely excellent Gluten Free afternoon tea. I was visiting as part of a family group celebrating a 90th birthday. Lovely room, excellent service and, as the only coeliac, for once I felt totally included as the GF afternoon tea was equally matched and absolutely delicious (this is very much not always the case). This is such a lovely hotel, with friendly and helpful staff and a warm atmosphere.

We had an appointment in Blackpool, but couldn't face staying in the town, so we chose The Villa at Wrea Green for one night, about eight miles outside of Blackpool.||It's a very good quality hotel, and we secured an excellent b&b fully cancellable deal through a booking site. Staff are fabulous and friendly, and check-in was very welcoming. Decent room size, very clean, good condition, very quiet, and we had a comfortable night's sleep. Ample parking.||Breakfast, in the tasteful restaurant, was excellent. Just one waitress on duty, but she was terrific and service was swift. It's an à la carte breakfast (thankfully no heated up and congealed eggs!), with a continental buffet. Great choice.||A couple of quibbles. Firstly, the food menu folder in the bedroom still had last Christmas's menu in it. The facial tissue holder in the bathroom had toilet paper in it; they'd obviously run out of proper tissues. There wasn't a room folder with additional info, such instructions for the TV (though it was basic Freeview), and a/c, etc.||Other than that, we had a very good stay, and highly recommend The Villa.

I booked a 2 night stay for weekend through a comparison site. I called the hotel to try and get an accessible room, I spoke to a lady called Liz and she was most helpful and accommodating and sorted the room for us. The room was on the ground floor just near the reception, fantastic for my partner with mobility issues and the walk in shower was fantastic. The room was a good size and very clean with lovely soft bedding, the room has air conditioning and a good size television. Our 2 night stay was amazing and I thoroughly recommend this hotel, fantastic staff and hotel in a lovely quiet location.

This hotel is a little gem, warm and friendly set in an idyllic location. The rooms are well equipped with bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom has complimentary toiletries and good quality fluffy towels. We ate in the bar, the service and food were great. ||Liz at reception was amazing, so helpful and informative.

Ian and the team always make any visit , whether pre - booked or spontaneous, an absolute delight. The service and attention to detail is impeccable and the quality of the food is second to none. Professional and inviting all at the same time . Dining at the Villa has been our favourite place to go for a number of years now despite the hour drive to get there.

Just spent two days here. Really enjoyed myself. Couldn't find any fault at all; the staff, accommodation, food and location was superb. Will visit again soon.
