Very reasonable - nice accommodating servers. Lots of local families.

We were on a shore excursion from Southampton and I think we were the only ones from our tour that walked far enough to visit here. Our server was very kind to explain things - I had the Sunday carvery - roast beef and a selection of potato’s Yorkshire pudding vegetables ( including some parsnips which I surprisingly really liked). Our server was cognizant of our time constraints and got us through in a timely manner in spite of us walking in unbooked.

Last minute booking for 6 people and 5 dogs. Very accommodating to us (in the area for an event)
The food was amazing for the prices. (Steak and Ale pie wow)
Went on a Sunday and had a carvery which looked very popular

It was our first meal in the scotland and couldn’t have asked better than this! Was early on my reservation but host graciously accommodated us. Decided to visit this place based on previous reviews and main menu having some vegetarian options, to our surprise they had secret vegan menu as well when we arrived which made life tremendously easier 😁. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection, Sticky Toffee Pudding was show stopper! Definitely recommend this hidden gem if you are around this area.

After a recommendation, we were delighted with The Waggon. Service was exceptional, friendly, smiling & interacted with our group. The food was delicious, highly recommend the burgers & chicken fajitas and plenty of it. Excellent value for money. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again. Thank you.

The portion is huge! I had a dish of deep fried haddock with coleslaw, salad, peas and chips. The bread crumb was nicely seasoned and so crunchy whilst the fish was so juicy. I was impressed with haggis balls. They were simply deep fried with crispy batter, but so tasty. The burgers! They have all sorts of burgers that satisfy all taste buds and huge appetite. I highly recommend this place especially if you are going with children. The prices are very reasonable.

We love coming here as a treat.

It's very affordable, and the food is always great.

Today we got the chicken fajitas, the waggon burger XL and some cheesy garlic bread to share.

We visited on a very busy day so service was a little slow but all staff were very pleasant. Good pub food that we all enjoyed. Offers of tips by both bill payers was declined!
