Staying at the Waltzing Nothing too much trouble for Carol and Simon Highly recommended. The room was clean and very quiet. Views amazing. Breakfast freshly made and delicious. . We will definitely return...Excellently situated for walking. etc Good cafes and local pubs

We have just arrived home after a 2 night stay here. |We absolutely loved everything about this lovely B & B. From the location, the room and the yummy breakfasts. |Carol is a great hostess, a real down to earth lovely lady with a wicked sense of humour.|We ordered a packed lunch for today, and wow there was so much in there and great value for money. |To have the view of Kinder Scout out of one bedroom window, to Lantern Pike out of the other, was amazing.|The deep bath, was our saviour after the walk we did yesterday. |The bed was very comfortable too.|We will definitely be back.|Thank you for the warm welcome. Keep up the good work x|

What a great find this was. The building is situated amid stunning views, very tidy with ample parking. We were given a warm welcome when we arrived and shown to our room by the friendly host. ||We booked a family room which was very spacious and clean with amazing views over the hills. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and fresh milk was supplied which was a nice touch. ||Breakfast was fresh and hot and catered for most choices. ||We were recommended a range of local|Restaurants for dinner all within a few minutes from the B&B. ||Would really recommend this place if you’re in the area either sightseeing or walking, it’s a perfect base.

A semi rural bed and breakfast venue in the High Peaks.
Carol is friendly and welcoming and ensures you have all you need.
The room (8) was spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast offering was freshly cooked to order and filling.
I personally found the 9am cut-off time a bit early, but I do take things slowly when I'm away.

Very friendly and helpful owners. |Spotlessly clean. |Good location with plenty of parking, less than 15 minute walk into Hayfield. |I had a roadside room but wasn’t disturbed by any traffic noise.|Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.|Would make a good base for walking trips.

What a fantastic hostess. Carol your a credit to your business and more b&b owners need to be like you. We felt so relaxed and welcomed from the moment we rang the 'ring' doorbell and told we were to early to come in 😂!! The rooms were spotless everywhere was clean the beds were comfy the shower was lovely. Great night's sleep and amazing morning views of kinder scout where there was a pair of binoculars left on our window sill to get a better look of the surrounding area. Breakfast was beautiful all freshly made and Carol stayed on form while serving it us. Full English and also choice of cereals and fruit while we waited. Great start to the day before going on a big hike in the peak district. As B&Bs go this was by far the best I have ever been too.

Having a night away in Walzing Weasel was much better than expected, it had a bath (bonus) everything was thought through very well, I liked the idea of having little milk bottles in a fridge that we could use, there were decaffeinated teabags, earl grey tea which is quite rare in hotels and B&Bs. The breakfast was cooked to order, beautifully cooked and presented. It was very good value for money and will be recommending this little haven, definitely a place to revisit. Well done Carol and team, you give a very warm welcome.
