Do not waste your time or money! This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The beds were barely put together, the one I was in had a few pieces of MDF just about screwed together to cover the prison like bed frame. The shower was terrible, I would have had a better wash in the great British drizzle had it been an option! |When we checked in around 6pm-ish, after a days work we were then informed the restaurant and bar weren't operational and neither dinner nor breakfast were available, even having a drink wasn't an option! Apparently it is not standard practice to inform patrons of this before they arrive either! Luckily the one redeeming factor was the pub opposite which did do lovely evening meals and a good pint, unfortunately no breakfast though! |It seems like the only 2 things most people want in a hotel this place could not get right, a comfy bed and a decent shower!

We needed a good Hotel on our way home from a Charity Walk. This came up n a search so we thought we'd give it a go.||Met by Shawn on reception who could not have been more pleasant. Offered complimentary bottles of water as we had literally just finished our walk.||Shown to our room personally and the owner even carried our bags up for us.||Lovely room, view over the river at the back of the hotel, lovely clean modern room. Superb bed, superb bathroom.||Food wasn't available at the time but plenty of places to eat, two pubs across the road. ||They did do breakfast which was typical tea, toast cereal and full English. The cooked breakfast was lovely, quality sausage, well cooked bacon, runny eggs - perfect for us.||Loaded car and Shawn came out to say goodbye and take the key card.||Cannot recommend the place enough. If we end up in the area we will certainly stop here again.

Hotel's management and staff are very nice and respectful. Room was clean and bathroom was updated. The hotel is bit far from the city center. The waterfall is the hotel is very beautiful, especially when having breakfast in the morning. will stay in this hotel again.

We stayed for two nights for a visit to Harry Potter Studios. On arrival the lady on reception was very welcoming and the room we were given was clean. The furniture, decor and bathroom could do with a bit of updating soon but overall the room was comfortable. We were very close to the waterfall which is quite loud - if you are a light sleeper you might want to ask for a room further away. Personally I really liked being able to hear it, it was just like having a rain sleep sounds app on. ||||The cooked breakfasts were lovely, we really enjoyed them. On our second day we asked for two cooked breakfasts but only my wife’s arrived. Since our orders weren’t written down I would imagine this was due to poor communication between the breakfast staff and the kitchen. When mine did arrive ten minutes later I was not offered an apology for the extra wait. Another guest came in unhappy about how long she had been waiting for her room service breakfast. The hotel was very quiet with only a few rooms occupied while we were there so I am not sure why breakfast orders were taking so long or in my case apparent forgotten entirely.||||Overall - nice hotel in a good location, great food, breakfast service could be a little better. We would stay here again.

Room was nice a good size and warm, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was good, but there were problems.
1. The bedroom windows were so poorly fitted you could hear every car that drove past (the noise level was the same when the window was open)
2. The room wasn't all that clean, there were cobwebs and spiders everywhere, and the toilet seat was quite stained.
3. All the members of staff spoke really quietly and we couldn't hear what they were saying half the time (and it didn't seem like they were listening most of the time)

Stayed with family for visit to Harry Potter studios and london... easy trip into london from local station and arrived at hotel to be greeted by friendly staff who were more than happy to help. Didn't expect too much as was under 80 pound for 3 of us for the night with brekkie included compared to other hotels in the area that were much more expensive but was pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice the rooms were with a lovely waterfall to sit by while eating and having a drink at the bar that was a fascinating feature. The food was lovely and the evening meal was a brilliant price. Would definately stay again if I came to London.

Well run independent hotel greeted with a warm welcome and a free upgrade a very personal service and nothing was to much trouble. Alisha served our evening meal which again like the rest of the hotel was better that expected. Room was cosy and warm everything worked and the beds comfortable. The water mill adds to the charm of the place but like most mid range hotels it’s down to the staff and the Watermill excels in this regard. We’ll be back|
