In Corbridge, this bustling coffee house was immaculate and had outstanding customer service.
I had an egg and bacon roll, which they don't normally do, which was nice .
A hot chocolate was amazing and a raspberry slice, which was absolutely delicious. All came to £11.80
I'll definitely come back again.
I had a takeaway.
We came on a Sunday and it was quite hard to find parking, but you will find it.
There is a step to enter the coffee shop.

Excellent cafe set over 2 floors. Waitress service with a good range of foods and drinks-( also licensed if you fancy a tipple) with toilets upstairs. I had carrot and lentil soup with a cheese scone which was delicious. He enjoyed a tuna mayonnaise sarnie with some lovely little salads and a lemon slice. 2 pots of tea brought bill to around £23. Very popular, very friendly and very good 👍

Great little cafe in Corbridge centre! It was such a shame to see it so empty in comparison to some of the other cafes in town. Lovely service and nice hearty food...

The menu was somewhat limited with no "cooked food" options after breakfast. Mainly sandwiches and jacket potatoes but I was pleasantly surprised by the seasonal quiche they had on - Asparagus & bacon. Served with a nice selection of side salads.

We were even tempted by their cake selection and finished off with some sweet treats! Would definitely recommend but not if you are looking for more substantial cooked food options.

Over all I got the impression Corbridge was a bit expensive, having looked at a few menus around the village but believe the Watling Coffee House was slightly cheaper than some of the others.
We had baked potato with beans and salad. Baked potato and beans is pretty standard in most places but the salad here was interesting with creamy coleslaw and some tasty mixtures including pomegranate and spicy sweetcorn which I'd not encountered before.
Well worth a stop if you're travelling along the A68.

Nice little coffee shop in Corbridge with friendly staff and a very relaxed atmosphere. The food is a definite notch above your average café. Pro tip: it's not large, so if you want to make sure of a table then I'd definitely make a reservation...

The food was really nice with an interesting salad. Good size pot of tea. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dining is on two floors, the stairs and toilet may be a problem

A welcoming cute little coffee house, nice lunch, great atmosphere. Parking outside is free for 30 minutes but you must still take a parking ticket from the machine.

Lovely coffee stop. Service with a smile and a chat. Scones the best I have had in a long, long time. Very reasonable prices as well
