Not stayed here so don't know about the rooms but had many a great meal here including the roast dinner. Also had brilliant night's there with live music. Staff very friendly and overall a very well run pub.

Stopped here for lunch whilst walking across the island. Served our purposes very well despite the good being unspectacular. Good without being great.

I have not eaten here yet, but I will.
The food looks great, and appears to be very reasonably priced.
The staff are very friendly and, despite me being of Scottish extraction, people actually go out of their way to talk to me, which is nice.😂 A proper community pub, in my opinion.

We had a group of 8 for a Sunday lunchtime roast. Staff were great as was the food.

Five of us had a fabulous roast dinner here today. Beef, pork, chicken or nut roast with superbly cooked roast potatoes, a huge selection of vegetables, home made Yorkshire Puddings, stuffing & gravy. We finished our meal with a home made apple crumble and custard. ||The Waverley was recommended to us, by friends on our visit home from Spain. We won’t hesitate to visit again.
