Lovely little hotel! Smells so clean and is spotless soon as you walk in all the way up to your room- then your room is so cosy! It’s a little outdated but in all honesty I think I preferred that it was so homely & warm! Bed was really comfy we slept like a dream- supplied a cot free of charge for my daughter and had blankets too was really nice so much detail- will be coming again thank you!

We stopped for one night needing a bed somewhere near Crewe station. The hotel is dated but comfy and clean with friendly helpful staff. The free parking is a bonus as well. So - not exactly luxurious but a.good price, convenient for Crewe station and town centre and certainly god enough for a stop over.

It's very conveniently located close to the railway station, it's basic but clean and the cooked breakfast is good, it has a free onsite car park.

The bed duvets are too narrow, the kettle provided is to large to fill at the washbasin and the heating is far too hot. The towels provided are too small and our bedroom carpet had multiple stains on it.

Had a great stay. The room was musty, but once the window was opened, the smell went. Comfortable bed nice bathroom except unable to get into the shower because the doors were stuck & the space between was too narrow plumbing old but that's to be expected. Lovely squashy incredibly comfortable sofas in the front of the house seating area. Interesting building with great features. Superb cooked breakfast lovely scrambled eggs sausage mushrooms a plentiful plateful. Bacon, too salty, beautifully laid our tables with lots of fresh fruit juices, milk cereals, yoghurt pots, tea, and coffee. The only thing missing would be water jugs on the tables. Would definitely stay there again.

Price and location could not be beaten, 3 minute walk from the train station, well-priced room.

Staff were excellent, friendly and delivered quick service.

Rooms are quaint though beds were a little uncomfortable on this occasion, though have been significantly better on visits since.

We were up in the area for a family funeral and had to book a hotel at short notice.
The room was basic but clean and well presented. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent!
I would recommend this for a short stay in the area.

Old Hotel located near crewe station lovely staff, just needs a bit of tlc/updating, but definitely a place to stay if you catching a early train
