Megan and Mike were very welcoming and helpful and very happy to have our 2 dogs to stay as well. Mike cooked a delicious evening meal and hearty breakfast for us before our walks on the Ridgeway. We also arrived to home made cakes and biscuits. Mike was also happy to transport us to the starts of our walks.
Great location for the Ridgeway and would highly recommend The Well to anyone.

A lovely family run little BnB close to Marlborough. The hosts were welcoming, with a lovely warm room for our arrival.

The room was basic, yet spacious and immaculately clean. They provided a couple of nice homemade treats, which were appreciated with a cup of tea.

The bed was only a double, which, whilst cosy, we don't find comfortable as a couple. But this wasn't a big issue, just a note if you're looking for a spacious bed.

Generous cooked breakfast provided. With parking out the front, or on the side of the road.

Spacious bedroom & en suite with a bath. Extra touches included home made cake and peanut butter biscuits. Delicious dinner, breakfast, and packed lunch. Interesting history which owners willing to explain. Good service. Thoroughly recommend.

My son and I stayed here whilst cycling the King Alfred's Way. Megan and Mike were super hosts offering tips and advice about the route and the area. We had a lovely meal and drinks in the bar and restaurant. The rooms were clean and comfortable with amenities for making tea/coffee. The fresh scone was a very nice (and welcome!) touch. Thoroughly recommended if you are in this part of the country.

The landlord and lady were very welcoming after a long day’s cycle ride on King Alfred’s Way. The room was very clean with comfortable beds. Our pizzas in the evening were great and breakfast was delicious. We were grateful for the packed lunch which was also very tasty with little energy boosting additions like nuts and raisins and cake. A very enjoyable stay and highly recommended.

Fab stay in this hotel. We went with family so there were 10 of us. Welcomed with a bottle of cold water on arrival. We had an attic room. Spotlessly clean rooms with everything we needed. Bed really comfortable. Room had TV, tea making facilities (including biscuits), nice strong shower with plenty of hot water and a bath if you prefer to soak after a day walking the Ridgeway. There was also shampoo/body wash, conditioner, fluffy towels, hairdryer, brilliant little bedside lamps that had usb plugs in them for phone charging, a tray from dirty boots by the door and a fridge on the landing for use by the two rooms on the top floor. We had a really nice meal sitting in the garden which was tasty and reasonably priced. Nice selection of drinks and we ordered the picnics the next day (£8) and the sandwiches (pretty tied with string) cake, drink, nuts, boiled egg were really delicious too. Perfect, comfortable stay.

This is a first class stay, very spacious and clean rooms. The food is excellent and lovely and fresh . it is a very rural pub in lovely countryside. A large pizza oven outside, which they were just starting to fire up on the day we left, but if the pizzas are as good as the rest of the food, they will be excellent. we hope to return later in the year.
