We just spent the most magical night at The Wellington hotel in Ventnor, and it truly lives up to its title as the ‘most romantic hotel on the isle of wight’!|From start to finish, every detail was perfect. We booked their romantic package, and it exceeded all our expectations. When we arrived, Champaign was chilling on ice, and the room was beautifully prepared with a bowl of rose petals for the bath and lavender bubble bath that made us feel completely spoiled. |The staff went above and beyond, even calling to check our arrival time to ensure everything was ready the moment we walked through the door. |If you’re looking to treat your loved one to a getaway they’ll never forget. The Wellington Hotel is the perfect choice. Every moment felt like a dream, and we’re already planning our next stay and can’t wait to go back💗

We cannot fault this hotel at all. My husband and I stayed whilst visiting our friend. The room was clean, very roomy and had a fantastic sea view. We'd definitely return, when it's a little warmer. I had never been to the Isle of Wight, such a beautiful place, would highly recommend, if you've not been before.

Our family room was very spacious, and comfortable with fantastic sea views. the whole hotel is beautiful, and well renovated while keeping many of its period features. The food was brilliant, the bar, very well stocked, and the terrace has more stunning views and access to the promenade by the beach. Ventnor itself is well worth a visit, lots of great places to eat. Beaches with forested hills behind giving it a microclimate making it the warmest part of the sunniest part of the UK! The team are friendly and enthusiastic, would thoroughly recommend.

A very welcoming family run hotel, friendly, clean, amazing views.|Spacious rooms with acoustic sounds from the sea.|Loved the open fire. the only downfall was that it was cold in the dining room for breakfast.|Have already looked at booking to go back in July!

We stayed at the wellington for four nights. The location was great. With a short walk down some steps and a short steep hill to the beach. The views from the balcony were amazing.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was well cooked with lots of choices.
The bar terrace was lovely too looking over the sea with comfy seats.
We hope to return another time to stay

Stunning! We stayed for a wedding party weekend. The staff we very welcoming and helpful. The food was yummy and drinks were great - specialising in champagne, and also did a great negroni. Our balcony view was fabulous. Bed was comfy. I enjoyed the quirky Scottish vibe mixed with isle of Wight Victorian style of Ventnor

We recently stayed here for a wedding and I was really impressed by the whole experience.
The rooms were tastefully furnished with everything you would need, the bed was lovely and comfortable and it had a cosy feeling about the room, including a wonderful sea view!!
The owner Andy really went to great lengths to make sure our stay was enjoyable and was very knowledgeable on the wines we were drinking, which we really appreciated as we learnt a lot about the wine and made us enjoy that little bit more!
The food was also really well presented and incredibly tasty! For both dinner and breakfast (which had a lovely variety of choices) I would definitely stay here again and will happily recommend to friends and family.
Parking is a slight disadvantage but there is parking in surrounding streets, so really wasn’t an issue for us.

We loved our stay at the Wellington!
The staff were lovely, completely accommodating, the room was perfect with a wonderful sea view. It was beautifully set up with all the amenities you might think to need. The bar and restaurant area were wonderfully cosy and homely, the food was sensational. We would definitely come for another stay!
