I just enjoyed a lovely break in Cape A2 West bay Club, which is a 2-bed chalet style cottage.
I really felt like a valued guest with the host going above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. I had no problem finding the accommodation, using the instructions and map provided. There's a large gravel car park, to the right of the entrance. There's a very helpful welcome pack and instructions for the oven, coffee machine, dishwasher, etc in the kitchen drawer.
The cottage was spotlessly clean throughout and spacious. The bed linen and towels are clean and fresh. The complimentary milk, tea bags, coffee pods and even a packet of chocolate biscuits! are a really nice touch.
I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Cottage was absolutely nice and perfect for a family. West bay cottage location is near to Yarmouth harbour so within 5 min you can reach. The cottage area is very clean and there is a sufficient car parking on-site. There is no reception, no shops and no social amenities like no swimming pool , no entertainment for kids.

I booked late with Island Holiday Homes who were helpful with booking. Unfortunately I had an issue with no hot water and although the problem was quickly fixed on Christmas eve once I contacted them, their customer relations were extremely disappointing. From arriving on 23rd December until late afternoon on Christmas eve, I was without hot water. Island Holiday Homes made a glib apology but failed to make any offer of restitution despite me pointing out that I had paid a lot of money for accommodation without hot water on arrival and for 1/4 of my stay. On Christmas eve I could not shower and had to boil a kettle to wash, wash up and shave. Despite emails, they were unsympathetic and refused to make any small offer of compensation for my unsatisfactory experience. |The chalet was warm, clean and comfortable, if not a little basic for the price, but clearly it had not been properly checked beforehand to see that hot water was provided. It was not value for money and I would not recommend it.

Great base. West bay club use to have recreational and sporting facilities for guests that are now permanently closed. You are just renting the accomodation now. Such a shame as the pool and spa were a family favourite.

Gorgeous cottages. Very clean. They really have thought of everything. Kitchen has everything you can think of. Beds very comfortable. Cosy lounge area and good outdoor sitting areas. Plenty of hanging and storage space. Quiet location.|Toni arranged everything for me including ferry crossings. It felt like the team actually cared about us and really wanted us to have a good holiday.|The only hesitation I have in recommending West Bay is that we want it all to ourselves! It was over and above everything we expected.

We came to the Isle of Wight for a 5 day holiday and booked to stay here. Overall the stay was really nice, there were a few things that were a little hit and miss. The location was really handy- especially being so close to the ferry and the external green space were well maintained. We did walk in to a slightly unclean floor with some dead flies in a pile and the fridge was very smelly- but I think that is because it may have been closed for too long without being on. Though the fridge itself was very clean. All the kitchen utensils were very clean and ready to use and they left a small package of fairy liquid, sponges and soaps. The bathroom and bedroom were fine and the bedding was clean. You will need to bring washing up gloves and oven gloves as they are not provided. The WIFI is good and works well with no issues with connection. All the tech in the cottage worked very well e.g TV, Microwave etc… The shower was a little weak and made a strange noise if you turned the shower pressure too high, but wasn't really an issue as it was nice and warm. The cottage was also really warm and there was no issue with heating. ||||The place also has a laundry where you can do your washing, this was unlocked every day for us. They also have a tennis court and a kids play area which looked well maintained.||||Overall, would stay here again for sure!! ||||Thank you 😊

We had an absolutely fab stay at West Bay (Wight staycation) over the jubilee bank holiday. Cottage was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The staff on site, Simon and Sam were super helpful with any queries we had. We did stay here several years ago when the swimming pool complex was open and it is a shame that it’s not open. Hopefully it will open again. The kids had great fun playing outside, safe and child friendly. Thoroughly recommend and look forward to booking again.

Fabulous. Much nicer than expected. The resort is clean and well kept. The house we've rented is well maintained, clean and spacious with two well sized bedrooms. All fully furnished including bedding and towels.
Check in was easy as the site emailed all details and key locker code. The site app has all the information you need, but they also leave a site guide book which is full of useful local info.
Well worth staying here for a week on the IoW.
