We stayed here whilst in the area for a birthday party.||Rooms look bigger on website than they are in reality. They were clean and generally reasonably well equipped but only one bath towel for 2 people and no hairdryer. Asked for another towel and barman in the Malling Jug next door agreed to bring one up - which he did while we were out, but was hand towel. We had good sized bathroom and double shower in our superior room - that was fine. Comfy bed. Generous supply of tea / coffee. ||Main issue was lack of connection to anything. Three rooms in all - are on 1st floor next door to the small micro pub also owned by same people. Check in is during bar opening hours with bar staff between serving drinks. Check out is keys through letterbox as bar doesn't open till 12. This means that owners apply a £50 credit card guarantee in case of any damage which is cancelled if all is well. ||No mention of this on booking. I wasn't best pleased as it gives a message of not trusting customers who the owners develop no relationship with, because of how the business operates. Did mention to young man who checked us in that we hadn't been told but it wasn't his rule and he was a nice friendly lad. More annoyed when we learned our friends next door hadn't been charged same.||No breakfast on offer and no info that we could see where to seek help if needed during bar closing hours. Like I said - was ok

Situated in this pretty town above a small micro pub the room we stayed in was very stylish, comfortable and well equipped. In particular, the bed was extremely comfortable. There are plenty of places to eat in the town and we would recommend The Hungry Guest just across the road for breakfast. I can recommend The West Malling Rooms as the perfect place to stay.

With short notice An travelling from the other side of the world I managed to find this great accomodation. Amazing hosts whose communication enabled me to stay here whilst visiting the area for work. ||Super modern luxurious accomodation . A nice spot in a delightful town to unwind at the end of the day

Best pint of Harvey’s best for a long way , superb steak panini and excellent food generally , very friendly and helpful staff. A perfect place to while away a few afternoon hours on days off and great wine too , if you’re a malt whiskey connosieur you won’t be disappointed either
