My wife and I stayed with Niki and Paul for 3 nights in May as we began a week touring around Northern Ireland. Niki was most welcoming and helpful with her local knowledge and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were wonderful, all freshly made - and the warm bread was amazing. Our room was spotlessly clean with great views over the surrounding countryside and the beds were most comfortable. A real home-from-home - thank you so much!

Niki and Paul made us very welcome in their extremely comfortable home. Our room was spotless and very well equipped with a spacious en-suite. Niki cooked a wonderful Irish breakfast with delicious home made bread and nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed watching the local wildlife in the lovely garden each morning. Niki was very helpful with local information and directions and provided maps and advice for local pubs and restaurants. The Whins is an ideal base from which to explore the area with all the main attractions close by and delightful Ballycastle a ten minute drive away. Highly recommended.

We stayed with Nikki and Paul for 2 nights in March and were so pleased with our stay. To begin with they are lovely people, very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were immaculate! Extremely clean, cozy, comfortable, private- just perfect! And to top it off, Nikki prepared the most spectacular breakfasts! So delicious- homemade bread, fresh eggs, yogurt, etc! We felt spoiled.! We highly recommend staying at the Whins. It is also in a very convenient location to all the sights in Antrim. Thank you Nikki & Paul!

Nikki's cordiality and warm set the tone for your stay the minute you walk through the door. Nikki attended to every part of our stay from having tea and homemade cookies when we arrived to making dinner reservations and providing us with directions with GPS accuracy. In both presentation and preparation the breakfast was the BEST I had in all of Ireland. The homemade bread and coffee were heaven sent. The location was charming and pleasantly remote, the room was impeccably clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. When I return to Ireland someday I hope to stay here again.

This was a fantastic B&B! Niki, our host, has put obvious passion into all the details making this a great two night stay. The highlight was the breakfast. FRESH ingredients expertly cooked. Homemade bread, farm fresh eggs, fantastic butter, and even excellent coffee (which I find hard to find in Ireland).||||Our room had a coffee/tea setup which included homemade cookies and was extremely comfortable with a private bathroom.||||Niki was gracious and friendly and struck the perfect balance between being helpful, accommodation yet not intrusive. My sole complaint, which is minor, is the poor internet speed which Niki warned us about apologetically upon check-in. The speed was good enough for checking email on vacation but don't plan to browse or stream video||||Bottom line, a fantastic place that I would definitely return to if I ever find myself in this part of the world again!

We staid 5 nights at the "The Whins B&B". We really enjoyed it and it was an important part of the great experience we had in this area.||Everything was at the top :||- The food : breakfast at your will, home baked bread, fresh fruits,...||- The location : quiet, in the middle of the nature (not close to the road), in the center of Northern Ireland to visit the complete coast in several days, not far from Ballycastle to eat in the evenings, easy to safely park the car in front of the B&B||- The beds : type of box springs beds really comfortable and wide as you can't imagine. We had to stretch our arms to touch each other!||- Bathroom : extremely clean, spacious enough, nice efficient shower||- Welcome : Nikki is all the time of good advice and you have a panel of maps at your disposition to visit the coast. As there are only two rooms, for sure time is available to share in a cosy atmosphere||To note as well that a living is available for guests with comfortable sofas and a chimney with a "wood fire"||Definitely "The Whins" is a place to chose without any doubt. I cant' see anything to complain.

This was a return visit as we had stayed here for two nights in 2014. I had raved about Niki's brown bread at that time and she sent me away with a bag of the special seeded flour she used and the recipe. It worked perfectly back home in Indiana, but The flour isn't available in the USA so no more until our revisit. No changes have been made and it's still the best bread in Ireland. If you need more reason to stay here, the location is perfect for The Giant's Causeway, Rope Bridge, Glens of Antrim, Bushmills, Dark Hedges, etc. You'll need at least two nights to see these places and you won't regret it.

We came back to The Whins 4 years after our first stay - more for the b&b than for the fabulous landscapes around! Niki's breakfasts and biscuits had made a lasting impression... And once again they were incredible! But more than that, this is a b&b where everything is done to help you and make you feel welcome and at home. A thousand thanks again Niki!!!
