This was the first time we have been to this pub. We will definitely be going again. On entering we couldn't have felt more welcome. The staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly. All the customers were very friendly also. The pub decor was very welcoming and comfortable. We had Sunday lunch. I can highly recommend it. It was probably the nicest Sunday lunch I have had. There was lots of space around the tables in the restaurant. This pub was a pleasure to go to.

Lovely village pub with very friendly and helpful staff. The room we stayed in was perfect with extra pillows, heater, fan and a wonderful huge bath. A proper gem of a pub in a pretty village

This is such a lovely place to stay. Thee rooms are great, spacious and very comfortable with so many small and considerate touches. More than ample tea and coffee facilities, a massive, cosy bed, a roomy bathroom, and good WiFi to top it all off.||The food is very good indeed with a wide choice, reasonable prices, good helpings and accompanied by a wide choice of drinks. Breakfast is excellent - cooked to order and everything that you could want on a Lincolnshire morning.||Most importantly the service from every single member of staff is so warm helpful and welcoming. We can't wait for our next chance to visit again.

We stopped on route for some lunch and had the most pleasant experience. A lovely place to stop for either a drink or food or both. The service was excellent and the complimentary home made bread was amazing. We had the quich and a sandwich both were very good. I understand there are rooms to stay in but we did not experience these. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to drop in and enjoy every element of this public house. Lovely

Amazing food, me and my dad made a booking for the restaurant as we were nearby the area on our holiday and we were incredibly happy with our evening out! Great food with lovely service and a very cosy environment! Definitely recommend stopping by!!

The menu was interesting and varied, and we all enjoyed our meals. However, service was slow ; around 20 minutes before they took the order and at least the same until the dishes were served. Also, and this is in a pub offering a high standard of food at an evening service, not chicken in a basket, there was a dog allowed in the dining room, even being lifted up so it’s mouth was level with the food. When will establishments realise that pandering to people who treat a dog like a child is counterproductive and will drive others away? It’s Ok in a bar at lunchtime, but really, in the evening in a dining room. PS we have a dog but , obviously, he stayed at home, because he’s a DOG.

A lovely place, we stopped for 2 nights with a breakfast included each morning. Free on-site parking, room was spacious and bed was comfy. Towels for bath/shower provided. Tea and coffee making facilities excellent (included a cafetière and ground coffee as well as teabags, bottled water and a couple of biscuits. This was replenished daily).
Television with freeview was wall mounted. Large wardrobe, dressing table and sideboard. Dog friendly room.
