Recently attended a family wedding here last weekend and all the staff were incredible and couldn't do enough to make the day amazing for the bride and groom. It looked absolutely amazing and everyone was really attentive and pleasant. We stayed over for the night and the bedroom was lovely and comfortable. All the food we had that day and for the breakfast was absolutely delicious for both meat eaters and vegetarians! Highly recommend this for a wedding venue. Thank you so much everyone at the Woodman Inn, we'll definitely be back for more meals.

We live locally and haven’t been to the pub for a good few months. However, our meal on Friday night was beautiful. The service was fabulous and the ambiance, just what we needed after a long, hard week in work.

The food was scrumptious, piping hot and plentiful. Thank you to the front of house staff, the chef(s) and kitchen staff. We will be back again soon and will be sure to bring our friends too.

Really nice relaxed environment. Great food with pleasant staff. The upgrade on our anniversary to the bridal sweet was an unexpected surprise. The only downside was we only booked for one night. Give the staff a pay rise 😁. Will definitely be going back.

The room was stunning; the pictures of the bar and restaurant area don't do it justice. It truly exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a three-course meal in the restaurant, and it was fantastic. Every dish was impeccable, and the service was top-notch. Breakfast was also excellent, with generous portions that set us up perfectly for the day. Overall, it was an outstanding experience and stay. Highly recommended.

Everything ran so smoothly, the planning and preparation, the venue looked spectacular and there were so many complements about how fabulous the food was.

The whole experience was everything that we had hoped for, and more, and all our guests were so complementary about almost every aspect of the day.

You have helped us create memories with friends and family that we will all cherish and remember forever.

Lovely location with good parking. We visited on Father's Day. Sunday menu was very good. Beef and pork were delicious, as were the vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. Very good selection of starters and desserts. The staff were very friendly and polite. Would definitely visit again.

Yes, this place is perfect. Big car park opposite. The whole placed has clearly been recently redecorated and refurnished, the staff are all genuinely friendly, there is a lovely ambience about the place and food is superb. The bar is well stocked (nice to see the unbelievably smooth Madri beer on tap). The rooms are spotlessly clean (try the cottage for two, what a delight), comfy beds and lovely plump pillows. We booked our next visit as soon as we got home from this one! Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely pub in a beautiful part of Yorkshire, with several local walks available. Decent amount of free parking, very friendly and helpful staff, and very good value for money. The room was clean, spacious and well lit. The standout feature for us was the food: dinner was spectacular and breakfast was very good too. Cask beers from the local brewery were also high quality. The main issue for us was that the room was a little cold. The radiator in the room was off on arrival, and didn't completely improve the overnight temperature when it was turned on. The quilt on the bed was quite clumpy too, which didn't help. Perhaps Yorkshire folk are hardier than us!
