We didn’t stay overnight but we had an evening meal.
There were five of us. The food was excellent. Lots of choice. There was a very limited vegan/ vegetarian choice. I ate the veggie burger - which was a crispy Portobello mushroom. It was absolutely delicious. We all really enjoyed our meals.
Two gammon and two steak pies.
There’s a large covered beer garden at the rear - which everyone was smoking and vaping in. The service was very good. I would recommend booking a table, especially on a Saturday evening.
We also had five delicious espresso martinis!
Thank you

Stayed here for my birthday - what a great stay. The rom was on the small side but was very clean and had everything you needed. The staff are very welcoming and made you feel at ease. Secure car park at the back was a added bonus you just need a token from the bar. Breakfast was very good and a great choice of Gluten free products. Stayed before and will stay here again when in Skipton.

We stayed here for 2 nights (Sunday-Tuesday) allocated room 9 which is a double on first floor. |The room was very nice with a comfy super king size bed & coffee/tea/biscuits. Added bonus was Hubbie had bkd the flowers/chocs & Prosecco package as a surprise. |Shower was in an enclosed cubicle rather than a walkin, which was fine for us. Shower soon delivered hot water & is not a fixed head shower. Nice shower gel available & proper toilet roll! Not this Kimberly Clark tiny squares stuff. Towels lovely & large. Bonus in our opinion was we could open the windows as we do like fresh air at night. We didn’t hear any noise from the bar downstairs.|We also ate here on our first night & would thoroughly suggest you reserve a table as they were extremely busy, especially on Sunday. The food was superb, he had the flat steak & I had venison. Beer choice was of course good too with a good selection of wines etc. |Breakfast served btwn 7:30-9:30 Mon-Fri |All cooked to your choice. Nice menu choice, small selection of cereals, fruit & yoghurt too. |Good heated outside courtyard area but it does also catch the sun |Will we return - absolutely

Popped in this evening for some food after a long, hot day so wanted somewhere quiet and cool with our dog. This was her first ever time in a pub and because it was so well laid out and quiet she was absolutely fine even with some other dogs barking.
The food was excellent! I can often reacted badly to some foods but the chicken burger was really delicious and my husband really enjoyed his gammon.

We stayed a couple of weeks ago and we had a very lovely stay . The staff where outstanding . The food was so tasty and well presented. Breakfast was a brilliant start for the day . The rooms was pleasant and very clean. The only thing I would say the bed was very firm. But all in all it was a lovely time for us to remember , thanks to all the staff and management.

Really enjoyed my afternoon here. Delicious food and a cool range of Timothy Taylor ales on tap. Staff are really great too and very helpful. Comfy chairs and relaxed vibe in the bar/restaurant. When next visiting the area I would love to stay in one of their rooms, it really struck me today as a great place so I look forward to coming back. Thanks for a pleasant afternoon!

Delicious food and lovely beer garden but would have liked a dog menu as my dog was left having bits of my food to avoid going hungry on a hot day. A staff member said they couldn't plate up a sausage for him as they contain garlic which is fair enough but many other establishments offer doggy menus. They had 80s music playing in the outdoor seating area which made you relaxed. Some staff were friendly and eager to greet my dog which was lovely. Convient location. Didn't sleep over, just went for some food mid-afternoon. We will be back!

Lovely pub, great atmosphere. Good beer.
There's a nice offering of different spaces depending on your reason for visiting. So they have covered or open outside spaces. Separate dining rooms and a bar areas too.
