When we booked the hotel it was bed and breakfast. The room was clean. However the following morning everything was closed no. No sign of breakfast or anybody. Just a short note to say leave your keys here and exit through a side door!!!! No one around to ask!!! I emailed to say we were disappointed and no reply. So be careful if you are booking this hotel.

On arrival pleased to find good parking and we paid on arrival for a 2 night stay. |We were then horrified to discover that absolutely no food is now available. We especially rely on breakfast included in our bookings but there is no longer a restaurant in the hotel.|What we did learn is that in future we should always check more than a day in advance that our upcoming hotel still includes breakfast. |The very sad part is that having paid they absolutely refused to refund our money! So we left losing £200 and moved to another hotel providing included breakfast.

Used as a halfway stop to the airport.
Very quiet, met at the check-in desk by gent called Toby, very nice, and carried the wife's case up the stairs.
Unfortunately, there was no restaurant at the time of the visit, so I took a walk to shops not too far away and was allowed to eat and drink outside whilst nice before going to our room.

Let me start with the positive.
The greeting on arrival was excellent purly down to the enthusiastic male receptionist . The room was basic however apart from holes in some of the towels it was very clean.
We booked expecting to be able to use the restaurant however on arrival told it wasn't open so had to find somewhere else to eat ( no mention the website of it being closed )
Breakfast was an absolute joke and with the offering of cereal, bread and cheese. Do not expect a cooked breakfast. The whole experience was one I hope to never come across again

What a disaster! We had reason to stay in Stockport rather than Manchester for 21 to 24 September. We carefully selected a hotel with a licensed restaurant and serving a fully cooked breakfast. The email welcome on 18th September detailed check-in and check-out times, free wi-fi, restaurant and bar opening times. On arrival we were told there had been a change of ownership and the new owners had cancelled the cooked breakfast, closed the bar, and advised we should buy any drinks for the restaurant in the local supermarket! Basically all the key features we sought out to make the booking had been overturned by the new owners but no information supplied to guests. There just appeared to be complete mismanagement of the situation and a clear disregard for the needs of paying customers. It might be that the new owners will have great success with tea-total guests. We were very pleased to receive a full refund and drove away as fast as we could - never to return.
