A very special place. The people are welcoming and kindly, liked the fact that the furniture and fittings are polished wood, leather and copper. Food very genuine and tasty, I will dream of that on tap root beer. Had the Reuben sandwich, handsome amount of warm salt beef, on light perfect rye bread, had a taste of daughters beef chili, mild and flavoursome. A genuine place for food, lush flavours we are working on going back with all the family. No corners cut.

We came across The Yellow Deli quite by accident and got a lovely surprise. We received a nice welcome and were taken to a lovely table upstairs in a sunroom area. The cafe has been thoughtfully decorated, and the atmosphere was quite peaceful and calming. The service was excellent, and our food was excellent. My husband and I both enjoyed a fabulous Reuben sandwich with lovely hot lattes in mugs. It was most enjoyable and we would go back again.

Appreciate there's a religious angle to this place, but it's not to put you off. Honestly the best sandwich I've ever had ( Deli Rose ) and the atmosphere is amazing. The decor is such a vibe. Lucky people that work here.

I came here for my partners birthday and it was our first time. The food and drinks were amazing. The staff were awesome, very friendly and warm. There is so much passion that not only goes into the food but into every part of the service. They even bought a cake with a candle in and sang happy
Birthday which was truly the icing on the cake. Literally. I will be visiting again and spreading the love of the Yellow Deli. Thank you for all the love xxx

Genuinely the best place in honiton. Everything made from scratch and fresh. Root beer is by far my favourite drink and it was great to see they made it fresh from the ground up. It’s already hard to find in the uk in general and seeing it in honiton was a surprise. Came here twice one after the other because it was so good. Would’ve came more if I didn’t have to leave town. Highly recommend the deli rose Sandwich and the cream cheese pie. The interior is well nice and is surprisingly nice given the rest of the town. It’s stunning and upstairs has a nice view and even in the middle of summer it was nice and cool in the patio. The staff were wonderful and super polite. I’m half American and it was really funny and a pleasant surprise to see some American food on the menu like chilli and cornbread. I hope to try it when I come back into town. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in honiton.

The food was perfection. Everything so full of flavour and fresh. The salted beef could rival Katz deli!
We were made to feel so welcome. We had our dog so sat outside. They came out straight away to sort out the tables and chairs for our group.
The service was top botch. Very friendly, helpful and efficient.
Root beer was amazing!!

The yellow deli is probably the place to go in Honiton. The decor is in itself the best I've seen to date. Lovely place to sit and relax. They serve a good selection of sandwiches and salads. The service was very friendly and attentive. They are open 24 hours from 12 pm on sunday closed on Saturdays.
If you are passing through, I highly recommend the yellow deli
