The yurt itself is incredibly well thought-out. The layout and use of space is super, and having a full bathroom and kitchen area is brilliant. Our kids loved running around in the outdoor space, playing on the trampoline and visiting the rabbits. Quiet and sheltered. Having a friend's family in the yurt next door was fantastic - a nice balance of proximity and personal space. Nicely located to access all areas of the island. Log burner was very pleasant too. We'll definitely book again!

Amazing stay here last week. Such a comfortable Yurt with really all the mod cons you need. They've thought of everything. Peaceful location and as we stayed with friends, and one yurt was empty, it was like own private site. Campfire and BBQ was enjoyed by all. Kids loved the shop! The chutney was amazing

We booked all three yurts as group (1 couple , 2 with a couple and 1 child each) for a little weekend break to celebrate my wife's birthday back at the end of November 2022. We were met with a lovely warm welcome by Kelly, who showed us around and we were astonished by the size of the Yurt and what was in there - we were expecting more 'camping' less 'luxury' and it certainly exceeded our expectations, it was perfect. Met with a banner and balloons, log fire, very comfy bed, full on kitchen and even a shower/bathroom which even had its own ceiling - it was like a tardis. The yurt was spotlessly clean thanks to Malcolm and his keen eye for detail. Not long after our arrival Ian arrived and went through the BBQ, honesty shed etc. The honesty shed was well equipped and a fab idea, we used this as a shelter whilst BBQ'ing and a good little communal area in the evening where we were lucky to sit out and watch the stars (very dark skies) - the kids loved it. England just happened to be playing in the world cup on the first night and we were able to stream the footy onto the honesty shed wall via a projector (not provided) which worked really well.
The following day we took full advantage of the central location and went off for a pub lunch and a beach walk in the afternoon.
The second night was blowing a hooley, however the yurts weren't going anywhere, kept us dry and the log fire was ample to keep us warm. The glow of the fire and twinkle of the fairy lights adds to the ambience. Sunday morning was wet but the kids entertained themselves easily enough whilst we packed up. The giant rabbits are lovely and hopefully there will be a few chickens added to the menagerie soon!
If you are a couple and put off that this place maybe just for kids - don't be, we had a great time and yes there were a couple of children in our group but this is also an ideal place and great location just for Adults booking as a couple as well - we will certainly be back. Thank you to Ian, Kelly and Malcom for making us all feel so welcome - fab hosts

We had such a lovely time there. Was like a home from home, we had everything we needed for a basic escape & some time to relax while the children had plenty of space to play and run around....and of course spend time chatting to the resident goats!
Would definitely go back & recommend to anyone who wants to give glamping a go!
We were so lucky to have lovely neighbours in the other two yurts during our stay too!

We're just on our way home from our best family holiday ever staying here. The yurts are beautifully decorated, each with an individual theme and the whole experience was a great adventure for my wife and I plus kids aged 11, 4 and 4!
Andrea and her family were excellent hosts and because all of the families staying had kids of similar ages we could open the doors in the morning and let them run as a pack, feeding the ducks and chickens, playing games leaving the grown ups to relax or join in for some fun.
The location is central on the Isle so all of the attractions were inside 30 mins away and the local Morrison's proved handy for beer and BBQ provisions! Each evening was spent with all the families hanging out together and because the whole site is enclosed the kids could play free without any concerns of safety. As the yurts are all close we could settle the kids in bed then stay up chatting with the grown ups as the sun set knowing we were within earshot. We may have been lucky with the families we stayed with but I think the way Kids Love Yurts has been set up encourages similar type families to ours to get together and connect with the bonus of being set on the beautiful isle of Wight.
Would recommend in a heartbeat and were definitely going back next year!

Such a great place to stay, like the best of a self-catering cottage and camping combined. Everything you need for a comfortable stay, with the space, sky and fun offered by camping. Hosts are lovely and accommodating, and there are plenty of things to make your stay more enjoyable (e.g. outside and inside games for the kids). Thank you Kelly and family.

A wonderful bohemian experience, peace and quiet, brilliantly themed Yurts, chickens, ducks, goats and not forgetting LOLA the resident bulldog, daft as a bargepole and lovely.

Not forgetting, Andie and Andy and the children, who own and run the place.
Set in the middle' ish part of the island's beautiful countryside within easy reach of all major attractions.

Go to far in any direction and the soil turns to sea, then you know it's time to return to your Yurt, for a nice portion of R & R.
