We have stayed in two different Z Hotels in London this year - and have been blown away by the welcome and care from all the staff and the small, but perfectly formed rooms. Not an inch of space is wasted in the rooms, but they are clean, comfortable and contain everything you need. However, the nicest surprise when you check into a Z Hotel is the incredible service from the staff and the complimentary drinks they provide. They seem positively disappointed should you refuse! The rooms are great value in fab locations - I can't see any reason to book anywhere else.

After a long haul flight from Australia we were tired and a bit apprehensive about a hotel I had found on line! We had the best time and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days there. We had a queen accessible room it was a good size with a great bathroom. Everything was spotless. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location great and the breakfast sensational! We felt thoroughly at home. It was like being with famiky!

The hotel is very well located next to Victoria Station. It’s compact and minimalistic, with some lovely staff. The room was nice and had everything you could need. However, the shower was slightly dirty, which I believe was due to poor ventilation in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was decent, though the grout could use some attention.

Unfortunately, the TV in my room wasn’t working as the signal wasn’t coming through. I reported it to reception, and while they reset the room, it didn’t resolve the issue. Thankfully, when I returned from work, the TV had been fixed, which was appreciated. I was offered a complimentary breakfast for the trouble, but when I went down, the dining area was packed, so I couldn’t take advantage of it.

The aircon unit made random noises during the night after being switched off, which was a bit disruptive. On the plus side, the mattress was firm, which I liked, and the wifi worked well throughout my stay.

Overall, it was a good two-night stay, but considering the price compared to other hotels, I would likely stay elsewhere in the future.

Such a lovely hotel right next to the train station. The staff were all incredible and very accommodating. Employees went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home.
Breakfast and drinks were all amazing! Highly recommend staying here if you are in Victoria area - just be aware the rooms are a bit small (only one bed per room) - perfect for single travelers or a couple.

This hotel is disgusting. The air conditioner in the room is infested with mold, I woke up with a chest ache after breathing moldy air all night. The rest of my stay I preferred to sweat. The shower has mold buildup in corners, and on the ceiling. The mattress is about 3 inches thick and totally flat on one side. The pillows are feather pillows and stained yellow. The water they provide in the room has to be undrinkable tap water, as the bottles stink of mold (haven’t been washed) brown buildup around the bottle lid, and water smells and tasted foul. The shower water stinks and is just as foul as the bottled water. I could not wait for my stay to be over, please choose another hotel, as this one you should be PAID to stay here. Absolutely disgusting.

Had a great stay at this hotel. The biggest plus was definitely the location - a tube station right next to the hotel, as well as a coach and a train station and a short walk from Buckingham Palace.
The room was quite small, with a bed and a toilet/shower area all in one space, but it worked out quite nicely and was just enough for us. The toilet area is well separated from the rest of the other area. The room also came with complimentary coffee/cocoa/tea. There was also breakfast served for an additional fee. The staff was very friendly and professional.

What a lovely gem in the heart of it all. Every single staff member was welcoming and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Kindness is free and this establishment gave it out in buckets. Room was small but set up mindfully and easy to organize all. All areas extremely clean and bright. My go to when in London.

Enjoyed my stay at the Z hotel but there are definitely some pros and cons|Starting with the positive, the location was perfect for us super central and conveniently opposite the train/underground station, the staff (especially the girls) are very helpful and sweet, the cheese evenings (twice a week) are a really good idea and very convivial, the hotel although small is modern and the reception is cute, also there is a kettle and coffee and teas in the room which is great, and water is also complimentary|Ok now for the cons, the bed mattresses are super hard and I mean rock hard, some people like it but not my cup of tea at all so it was difficult to get a good night sleep, the pillows are the same… The rooms are super small and compact, I guess it’s not really a con since it is the whole concept of this hotel but be prepared! Zero intimacy for the bathroom/shower room which was fine for us but be warned who you intend to stay in this hotel with, also the sink is ridiculously small which might sound weird to say but even brushing my teeth was an ordeal, the hotel although modern is starting to show little signs that it isn’t as fresh anymore, there are no phones in the rooms which means you can never reach reception, and obviously zero room service, although they do have tables at reception for breakfast a snack or drinks. Also they do not clean bedrooms daily only every 3 days, but they were totally fine to provide towels when we needed them so once again not a problem for us.|All in all not a bad stay at all for us but just be aware of all these points before booking!
