Amazing experience, but not that hot. Maybe I have been spoiled with the hot springs of Europe, but I found the water tepid, still, it was magical to be in the rooftop pool watching the seagulls cruising over and the clouds passing by, especially after dark with the city lights below. Indoor/outdoor pools on different levels, as well as steam rooms and sauna. Great experience.

Really unique experience. The saunas were amazing (cold, hot and steam) too. Be prepared to lock your phone in a sleeve to avoid people taking photos in the locker room and people actually enjoying the spa, not videoing and taping the entire time. Cafe in site for a snack or prosecco, beautiful balcony to enjoy a little sun. Walk in process was very easy but go early. Entire place including locker room is coed so use a changing stall. No kiddos for this place.

A wonderful Spa experience though the staff were not as welcoming or as friendly as expected in such a popular and highly recommended place.
They have a no phone policy in the Spa, which means visitors can relax rather than focusing on getting the right pose for social media!
They now charge for flip-flops (£2.50) so do bring your own or walk barefoot.
Definitely recommend for a chill out experience.

Visit included afternoon tea.

I was a little skeptical this would be worth the cost after reading reviews, however overall it was excellent and I would visit again.

Rooftop pool was amazing, great views and imagine would be great in winter. Nice layout of sauna/steam room floor. It was not too busy on weekday, plenty of room for everyone. Spread over 4 floors, with thermal bath in top and bottom. 36° for both baths nice and warm. Was also very nice that phones a prohibited, they are locked away before you enter.

Afternoon tea only bit I would skip, an extra £18 for 2 persons ontop of the baths cost. Overall it was not a bad Afternoon tea, cakes were nice, view from cafe is nice, though the setting is like mention 'cafe' style, feels a bit basic. As others mentioned agree more savoury would be welcome, even at the sacrifice of some sweets. Others mentioned not unlimited tea, our experience was they offered top up our tea pots, but we had already had plenty.

Overall yes it was a little expensive, especially compared to other thermal/volcanic baths around the world, however it was clean, nice, relaxing and enjoyable experience, being unique within the UK. So yes I would recommend.

My first visit was around 2010/2011, and I remember how wonderful it was back then. This visit in Oct 2024 was less spectacular. The locker system is ridiculous and problematic, but the staff were very friendly and seemed very used to working around this issue. The rooftop pool is still excellent, but the steam and sauna rooms were nothing special. There were not enough water jets in the pools. The jets in the indoor pool were not very strong. The roof top pool only had jets 1 side. There are no hot and cold plunge pools. There is only 1 hot sauna, and this was full with 14 people inside. The steam rooms and the other astronomy-themed sauna were not very hot. Only 1 of the 2 lifts was working. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the place was impeccably clean.

Thermae Bath Spa is a true oasis of tranquility nestled in the heart of Bath. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was transported to a world of pure relaxation and indulgence.

The top floor spa is a magnificent experience in itself. The rooftop pools offer stunning panoramic views of the city while you soak in the naturally heated waters. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate. I particularly enjoyed the infinity pool, where I felt like I was floating on top of the world.

The second floor is equally impressive, boasting a variety of spas and treatments to suit every preference. I indulged in a blissful infrared sauna, which helped to relax my muscles and relieve tension. I also ventured into the ice spa, a truly invigorating experience that left me feeling refreshed and energized.

One of the things I love most about Thermae Bath Spa is its phone-free policy. It's a rare opportunity to truly disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and focus on your well-being. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every detail of your visit is taken care of.

Overall, Thermae Bath Spa is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a luxurious and rejuvenating experience. The combination of natural thermal waters, world-class facilities, and serene atmosphere make it the perfect place to escape the stresses of modern life and reconnect with yourself.

Really great experience, large complex with a variety of different pools and spa facilities. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi was great! I would also recommend the Georgian Steam Room!

I also had a wonderful massage which I would highly recommend. Quite pricey for what it is though.

Some people who went there didn't really follow Spa etiquette and were really loud.

Overall, it seems to draw a crowd and understandably so!
I would recommend.
