My two sons took me there today for a Father’s Day meal. Absolutely beautiful meal cooked perfectly. Lovely pub, nice pint! The young lady who attended our table was a pure delight. So sweet & helpful. Very relaxing meal. Very impressed. Thankyou 🤗

Beautiful location and friendly, excellent service. Lovely food too. But £100 for lunch for 2 people (2 courses, one glass of wine, 2 glasses of soft drink) feels a little bit too much even for a nice gastropub like this.

Really poor food from this pub. I ordered the dressed house salad and garlic mushrooms as a takeaway option. The house salad was nice enough but it was mostly iceberg lettuce with a few bits of red pepper, red onions and a light dressing. Fine but nowhere near the £4.90 price tag. At least a variety of salad leaves would have made it a bit nicer. More disappointing though were the 'garlic' field mushrooms which had not even been shown a clove of garlic, let alone cooked with it and were just soggy and watery. Again, 5 small tops of mushrooms for £4.90 was serious overcharging.

Came along for the food and because its part of Lords cricket ground. There were six of us, 4 adults and 2 children and we were all happy with the food and service. The food was nice and the Chicken Kiev was fabulous. Great homemade food at a lovely location.

Another lovely find in this area. Their roast dinner was amazing and the service was second to none. Didn't get to try out the rooms unfortunately but maybe next time we we wouldn't hesitate to come back for the flood and friendly staff! Thank you!

Beautiful accommodation in a stunning village with a very warm welcome. Perfect stop after travelling over from France to recharge have a great night sleep followed by an excellent breakfast the next morning to set us up for our onward journey. Yvonne and Paula were so attentive and made sure we had everything at breakfast.

We ordered two 'small plates' as they sounded unusual and tempting. They didn't disappoint. Really tasty and the staff were helpful and welcoming.

What a wonderful place to eat! We have a neurodiverse grandson, so meals out can sometimes be challenging. The staff were all fantastic. It's rare to find somewhere so understanding of his (and our!) needs. Nothing was too much trouble, and the food was perfectly cooked, well presented, and very tasty. Thank you all for making a family meal out both possible and enjoyable. We'll be back!
