This is the second time that we have stayed here in the past few months and its was probably even better than last time. The rooms are immaculate and offer fantastic value for money. All of the staff go above and beyond to make sure that you have a wonderful stay.|Check in was great and we were shown to our room by a very helpful young lad. Evening meal was once again delicious. We didn’t bother with a starter because the range of starters were limited, but good job we didn’t as the portions are massive, so struggled to finish the mains. Dessert of lemon tart and ice cream was really tasty. Personally I would prefer a 3 course meal with smaller portions and possibly the option of cheese instead of dessert. The young restaurant staff were all great and were being kept right by the lady with Blonde curly hair. This lady had a very long shift after the fire alarm was set off during the night. She checked everyone was safe and made sure it was only a false alarm (probably some idiot smoking/vaping in their room). She was very professional and apologetic, but it was not the hotels fault.|This is definitely somewhere we will be recommending to friends and family. I would advise anyone to give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. There is a room for every budget and the meals and drinks are very reasonably priced, but restaurant is only open Thursday to Sunday, which is a shame.|This place is a hidden gem and we can’t wait to return soon.

Stayed in the Aquila room was really nice! Hot tub and sauna was amazing and really clean. Had food and drinks in the restaurant and it tasted beautiful. I really recommend this room if you want to relax and have a great weekend with a partner in a private room and outside patio. I only recommend the room should have a coffee pod machine rather than a kettle but overall why drink coffee when you can have a nice cold pint.

Faultless. Lovely room, polite staff and brilliant breakfast. Comfy bed, clean and very nice decor. Plenty of parking and good communications after booking. Visiting the area for a gymnastics competition and this was just what we needed for myself and my daughter.

Five of us three rooms. So friendly and accommodating, the loveliest of people. Clean, well presented rooms and bathrooms / showers. Sadly we were there at beginning of the week when the restaurant is not open at present, but the breakfast was excellent!
Nothing too much trouble!
You won’t find better for the price!

The staff and owners are friendly, caring and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. We stayed in the phoenix suite with the double sunken spa bath. The suite had all the finest little touches of bathrobes,toiletries, biscuits, water etc but also a bottle of chilled prosecco waiting for us in the room fridge. The suite was beautifully decorated and the seperate shower room leaves more space to enjoy the spa bath. There is a table and chairs for you to enjoy breakfast by room service and a tv in both the bedroom and room with the spa bath. |We celebrated a birthday and our wedding anniversary whilst we stayed and the staff deessed the bed with petals and gave us a card and another bottle of prosecco to enjoy. We had the Sunday lunch which was fabulous, perfect service by friendly staff and managers. The quality of food was fantastic and the same quality was had on the breakfast menu. The full english and egg benedict were very tasty and very well presented. There is a choice of hot or cold food with juices and tea/coffee on offer. We could not fault out stay, it was the perfect hotel to relax and refresh. 100% booking another stay.

Lovely couple of nights spent here. Great value for money, clean room with lovely shower en-suite and lovely breakfast. Staff all lovely and we also recommend the restaurant.

We were here for two nights celebrating our wedding in the area. They went above and beyond to make it so special and added sweet extras to celebrate our big day. The cottage was beautiful inside and out. It was just perfect for us both and our dogs in a lovely setting. Everything you need and more in the cottage and around the area, we will be back! We all enjoyed our time here and relaxing in the hot tub before and after the big day. Couldn’t recommend enough. Just perfect and couldn’t have imagined better. A big thank you to Esther and the team again! A must visit!!
