Came here for afternoon tea, which was really nice. We sat in the blue room and the staff were excellent. The gardens are really nice to walk around, and the old part of the house is fascinating to look at. Here's a picture of the great room.

We’ve had a couple of short stays at Thoresby Hall recently. We stayed in historic rooms both times, and loved the accommodation - large rooms with included soft drinks, water and snacks, together with the usual tea and coffee hospitality tray. There was an iron and ironing board, a fridge with proper milk (not those horrible little milk capsules), and even a large fan (which we didn’t need in January!).
Food in the buffet dining room was great - plenty of choice, and as much as you wanted. The breakfasts were especially good, including such extra choices as eggs Benedict, eggs royale and kippers.
We ate in the Blue Room one evening, this is included in the holiday price and is an a la carte restaurant.
Daytime, and evening entertainment is included together with indoor and outdoor sporting activities.
Highly recommended!!

Afternoon tea here with a friend, bought with a voucher. A really nice place, fabulous food - chef catered to my dietary requirements exactly. Staff brilliant - friendly, nice and very welcoming. A great afternoon had. Recommended! Just ensure you park in their car park (the hotel one), and not the Thoresby one next door, which charges £3 card payment - we didn't realise this, but it wasn't a problem.

Really helpfull friendly staff in all departments. Excellent food and varied themed menu each day. For a midday snack visit the courtyard cafe on site.
Activities are a little stunted as it has no large dedicated games room unlike Gunton Hall . All the usual activities on offer as per the website. Adults only but be aware if you are not capable of walking. We had a 400yd walk from our room to dining room ,each way. Our room was one of the furthest I think so when booking check with the hotel to get closer. It wasn't a problem for us but be aware if you have mobility issues. There is a lift which will shorten it a little bit., we were on the 2nd floor and walked it for the excercise.
The evening entertainment was as good as you could expect for such a venue. All in all our 3rd Warners long weekend was most enjoyable. Being christmas time the decorations were stunning creating the right atmosphere. We shall be trying a new location next year.

Our group of 12 had a fantastic three night break. We were greeted at the main gate with our room keys and able to go straight to them. The rooms were comfortable, the food very good and the evening entertainment also very good. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The Hall is a beautiful place to explore. We couldn't fault our stay and will definitely return next year.

Great hotel, no kids allowed! Fabulous rooms good food & entertainment. Pity the spa is no longer open, it still has a swimming pool & a sauna/steam room but that's it, such a shame.

After having dozens of excellent breaks at Warners hotels over the last 25 years this one was a disappointment to say the least.
Our original booking was cancelled a fortnight before departure. We were given a beautiful alternative room at Thoresby hall. In the middle of the first night we had to be moved due to the strong smell of adhesive choking us. This second room was not available long term so we were moved again the next morning. By the time we had repacked and moved again it was 2pm. Therefore we had 30 hours without sleep.
The staff were very helpful especially Michael from night staff, Melissa team leader and Carla from the blue room restaurant. Unfortunately it spoiled the rest of the week for us.
Generally Warners holidays are excellent in all aspects. Thoresby being one of our favourite venues.
