Simon and Sarah.... We stayed with our 2 dogs, on the way to Cornwall, the hosts Valerie and Derrick could not have been more accommodating. On arrival we were greeted, with Tea and Banana cake. The accommodation was First class, our room was beautiful, the Cottage was stunning, beautiful countryside, and the Breakfast was gorgeous, Valerie and Derrick were unbelievable hosts, and made us feeling so welcome, with our Dogs, would recommend to anyone who is passing that way, and will definitely return. Absolutely excellent place. Stayed here while cycling on Dartmoor with a friend, hosts were so accommodating, went above and beyond. Lovely relaxed couple, really enjoyed chatting with them. beautiful accomodation. Breakfast one of the nicest I've ever had. highly recommended, absolute gem of a place. Thank you

Conveniently situated for Shilstone House wedding venue.|Room was warm, clean and homely with everything provided for a very comfortable stay. |Great choice for breakfast. We opted for yoghurt and fresh fruit followed by a wonderful full English which was freshly cooked - very tasty. |Our hosts, Derek and Val were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.|Tea and biscuits in the lovely garden was an added treat upon arrival.|Would recommend.

After a long day walking it’s always nice to find that you have booked a nice B&B. If you stay at Thornham Cottage B&B you will NOT be disappointed. The cottage is a wonderful building that has been looked after by its owners for over 30 years. It is pretty, it is well appointed and comfortable .... the bedroom I stayed in was really well presented and had everything you might need.

The hosts Derek a Valerie were most welcoming and unbelievably accommodating... I couldn’t have asked for more!

Finally.... the breakfast was delicious!!

Don’t pass this place up.... You will not be disappointed!!

Very nice place to stay in a lovely location making it easy to travel and visit places in the area. The room was very bright, warm and comfortable with lovely views over the garden complete with an ensuite. Breakfast was in the dining room and was very good and very filling! The hosts were very nice and attentive. Would love to return at some time to visit more places in the area. Highly recommend - you will not be disappointed!

Tried to cancel in advance, refused to refund me because of “considerable effort it would take” and charged me the cancellation fee. One of the biggest wastes of money I’ve spent. Thanks 😀
