Liked: Very quiet, small site and pitches were good size. Good WiFi. Lovely location with plenty to do nearby. Facilities were always clean and pleasant to use.

We picked this site as a half way point to Cornwall and we are glad we did. The site facilities are immaculate. Our pitch was fully serviced and the site very quiet and peaceful. During our short stay we found we had a problem with our jockey wheel which Kitty (site manager) became aware of and her husband Chris came to our rescue. They located a jockey wheel for us at a local caravan/spares suppliers which we then collected and then he fitted it for us. Without this help we would not have been able to continue with our journey. We cannot thank them enough. We will be returning.

Liked: The easy access. Pitch number on a board on access to the site. Loved the clean and tidy site. Grounds are kept neat, loved the wild flowers. Electric hook up good and the water tap on our site. Made use of the washing and drying facilities, good job I had a few coins handy. Toilets and shower clean and accessible for wheelchair users.

Well kitty is 100% the person you want running a campsite for you , helpful and caring and knows the area, the actual site is not twin axle caravan friendly, even when entering the site the entrance could do with being wider, ie where the conifers are, then you have rocks which are there to protect the grass, well if you widen the track there would be no need for sharp edged rocks which would not do your tyres any good if run over, we had no wifi so we left 2 days early as even our phone signal was poor o2, think ee works better here. When trying to search for other sites wifi is the norm these days.
There is a essentials shop which was not open, so had to drive to highbridge caravans for toilet chemical, when a essentials shop would stock toilet chemical as it is a essential when caravaning or motorhoming.
Its a all year round site which should have a little shop open for maybe milk or local eggs or bacon, tesco is 5 miles away and that is the nearest shop, as for peace and quiet, yes it is when the farmer is not up and down next to the site 11pm one night, and the road at the front of the site is busy considering you are remote.
Toilets and showers are very clean and they are unisex .
We stay at camp sites all over the UK and people need to put honest reviews, not just a one night stopover review, which doesnt really give people a insight in what to expect from a site if booking for a longer stay.
The chemical waste point has no flush, so you have to run the tap to get rid of any waste which didnt go down the pipe the first time.
The laundry room is clean, £4.50 a wash and £1 for 10 mins on the tumble dryer, but unlike us most people take their washing home.
The site is small and clean, but needs wider tracks to avoid going on the grass in winter.

Only used as a break on the way to Cornwall. What a wonderful site with it's easy to use fully serviced pitch's. Could not have been more helpful when due to weather shutting down motorway they went out of their way to help us.

A real gem of a Campsite on the Somerset levels, large pitches with EHU and the shower block is immaculately kept at all times. The staff are so helpful and can’t do enough to help make THE stay PERFECT.

Highly recommended to anyone with a campervan, caravan or motorhome. Particularly like the automatic gates in the evening that made the site feel very safe and secure. The nearby town of Langport has numerous shops, Cafes and takeaways plus a wonderful walk along the river which is excellent for anyone with dogs. 5 out of 5.

Liked: What a lovely little site with friendly owners! We had a great stay here despite quite a lot of rain! We had the wood fired pizza when we arrived on the Saturday which was delicious. We also had ice creams, very good! The little ice cream / coffee hut is a nice addition to the site.
Everywhere is kept clean, showers and toilets spotless.
All in all a great little site that we would highly recommend 🙂
