Camped with my 2 dogs and found good dog walks, walking past the gorgeous horses and lovely ponds. I am well used to traffic noises, as I live near traffic bridge, so trains and nearby A1 didn't bother me. I'd definitely come back

Clean comfortable and spacious , well equipped we stayed for a few days while competing at Arena UK and it was very accessible and a great space to unwind Outdoor seating options in the shade were very welcome during very hot weather. Would go there again and recommend to others.

Stayed for three nights whilst attending Arena UK show. The accommodation was clean and very well decorated. The kitchenette facilities were excellent, though a proper oven would have helped. But it in no way spoilt our stay. The bathroom was very user friendly with plenty of hot water. The host are extremely friendly and very accommodating. It is easy to find from the main road and excellent for the Arena venue. I would recommend Thorns Farm to anyone staying in the area.

We absolutely love coming to this site, we always have a very relaxing peaceful stay. The site is always clean and tidy and very pretty with two small fishing lakes and some of the most beautiful sunsets over the water. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Definitely one of our favourite places when we just want to get away from it all. The dogs love it too.

I stayed for 6 months whilst working locally before making a permanent move to Suffolk. Gamekeepers Lodge was ideal with all the facilities I needed 9 (though a full length mirror would have been fab!). The woods and lakes are lovely and it’s an easy commute into Grantham for supplies. Any minor issues were dealt with very promptly by Grethe and Ove. Thank you.

I stayed four nights at Thorns Farm in the 'Old Horse Box' which overlooks the garden and small lake. Staying on a B&B basis was perfect for me and the cost very reasonable. The accommodation is stylish, superbly appointed and immaculately maintained which considering that the 'Old Horse Box' was the first of their converted farm buildings some years ago is testament to the work put in to keep everything up to the owners high standards. If B&B or self catering is what you are after, but in accommodation that would grace a stylish modern hotel, then this really is an excellent place to stay, whether you are on a business or leisure trip.

The chalet bungalow are home from home very well thought out with all the comforts and luxury to relax and unwind after a busy day at work. I am on my third week here and plan to stay a further week. Having tried a number of hotels in the area there is no comparison, I can eat in or go out when ever I please the facilities are excellent, breakfast is catered for and covered with the daily rate. You may hear the occasional train or a little traffic from the A 1 but nothing to worry about. its a peaceful setting and a country outlook. Ten minutes drive into Grantham town

We came and stayed over the weekend as we were attending an event. Took a bit to find due to the A1, but once negotiated the turning points and found (we came from the north) we were pleasantly surprised with what we booked. Modern, compact but not small and very cosy. Had everything we needed to make a pleasant stay. Plenty of breakfast food and the facilities were topnotch. Thank you for a very comfortable stay, it was thoroughly enjoyed and we will remember this place if we are ever down this way again.
