Had a wander around this static caravan site, as we might be purchasing a static caravan.
Lovely site, with a lake in the middle.
Restaurant and small, but well stocked shop for groceries very close by.

Staff are very lovely, the toilet blocks are clean and well kept - but be prepared to be sprayed in the face with cold water initially. The park is nice, restaurant is good and the farm shop is also great.
The main downfall - and this was so bad we left after 1 night even though we’d booked for 2 - is the location. If you are coming in a van, you will be absolutely fine. If you are planning to stay in a tent be aware that the tent pitches are no more than 10 metres away from the A66 and the flow of traffic so close to the tent made it so none of us slept at all overnight (2 adults and a toddler - so you can imagine how this went).
It seems tent users have been overlooked and really vans should be pitched where the tents are as they will have more protection from the sound of traffic, tents should be pitched away from the A66 and nearer to the toilet blocks.
If it wasnt for this, it would have been perfect and we would have stayed the full time we had booked for regardless of the rain we had.

Great careavan and camp site with a friendly atmosphere and lots of good facilities. Including family play room, outdoor play area, amazing on site farm shop, restaurant with really good food and excellent service. There is also a seperate animal shelter on site you can pay to visit. The location is great with lots of visitor attractions within driving distance. We'll worth a visit.

This must be one of my favourite places to stay. It has a great farm shop with a beautiful cafe/restaurant and an animal sanctuary with a dog walk.
Lots to do and see near and around the area.
