Excellent and imaginative menu in a recently refurbished environment. Tasty food served in a friendly environment at reasonable prices. We ate in the quiet period of mid afternoon but we still received a friendly welcome and were quickly served with freshly cooked food.

Beautiful pub inside and out! I had the homemade sausage roll for starter which was delicious. I then had the Sunday roast which was amazing, really good portion sizes. The pub is very friendly and welcoming and the service was excellent! Thank you to the team and especially Ash for being so attentive. Will definitely be back.

Went yesterday for something to eat, was great to find somewhere that food was available all day. I had open fish pie and Parma Violet pudding and my brother had the liver and bacon dish of which I tried😃 x. All excellent taste and service. I would highly recommend.

Popped in for a meal Tuesday - lovely food. Had the scotch egg and crackilibg as nibbles. Not really nibbles more of a starter !! Followed by the beef suet pudding - best pie I’ve had in ages. Dog friendly and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

Our first visit to this pub since it’s been taken over by a local chain. We’ve been several times with different previous owners.||There was a lot of landscaping work going on with artificial grass being laid on the frontage with outside tables. I recall this was originally parking although it had been turned over to additional outdoor seating. The car park didn’t seem big enough and we struggled to get a space. Might be more of an issue if the rooms are also in use?||Inside it’s been done up with considerable money spent. It didn’t seem finished. ||The emphasis seemed to be on upmarket dining. Food looked good but we didn’t eat. We only wanted something simple. Service at the bar was prompt and courteous if a little pretentious.||The issue we found, having taken seats at tables in the window, was that the (new) stools were dammed uncomfortable. Some were wobbly and I had to search for one that didn’t seem about to collapse! This put us off as it wasn’t pleasant to sit. We finished our drinks and left. I wouldn’t recommend unless you want a fancy lunch.

Had dinner here. Good quality food. A bit above your average pub cuisine. Has a unique selection of dishes. Nice place to go for a special meal.

My daughter and I had Sunday lunch at the Three Kings today. I was very hopeful as we live in the village and were very pleased when they reopened recently.|However the Roast Chicken Supreme roast lunch was only a small chicken leg. I felt that I had to comment on the meagre portion as it was underwhelming however so was my response from the staff.|The vegetables and gravy were good. When I commented to the waiting staff I was told the kitchen would be informed. I had no response back at all which I find very disappointing.
